I vowed that if this stuff worked, I would write a review, even though it's embarrassing to admit I've had hemorrhoids twice! So...here I am writing the review because this oil really saved me, and I figure I should write in because maybe it will help other people. I had a thrombosed hemorrhoid several years ago and had to have it surgically removed because of its size, how painful it was, and because nothing worked to treat it. I was mortified when I developed another one several weeks ago. I bought this stuff and am incredulous at how well it is working. I had to be patient at first, but after two weeks of applying it three times a day, I am almost completely healed. I plan to finish the bottle off just to be safe. I only gave this product a 3 because I didn't actually give it a fair try and MAY have rated it higher or lower had I followed through with it. THAT BEING SAID... I have a much cheaper alternative. Let me tell you about my story...

About 10 months ago, I developed an internal hemorrhoid. Over time, it got worse and worse and was causing me EXTREME pain. Finally, after 7 months of suffering, I went to the doctor to have it fixed. Btw, one of the most embarrassing experiences of my life. While I was there, the doctor commented that internal hemorrhoids SHOULD NOT hurt this much, so he used the rubber band ligation procedure to suffocate the hemorrhoid. If I thought I felt pain before, it was nothing compared to this. When I returned to the doctor for the post-op, surprise surprise, I had two more hemorrhoids! (Probably because the pain killers I was prescribed cause constipation and I could not go to the bathroom for several days. I was also terrified to go because of the pain.) At this point, I had been in so much pain from the previous procedure, I told the doctor that I'd rather keep them. Thus, my search for a cure. I searched the internet high and low and found a few articles that mentioned vitamin E oil. I thought, what the heck... it couldn't hurt. I went to CVS and got a bottle of liquid vitamin E and an eye dropper. Once in the morning and once after a bowel movement, I "applied" the vitamin E oil internally. Believe me when I say, the results were almost instant. After just days, it hurt much less to go to the bathroom, and within a week no pain at all. I originally bought this product to use WITH the Vitamin E; however, when I combined the two, I had more pain than when I just used the oil. I have only been using this "cure" for two weeks and my life is much better. Vitamin E is a cheap, easy, and natural way to cure your problem. I actually saved myself from surgery.

I have tried everything and was so desperate I was thinking of surgery. This may be TMI, but it looked as though I had a flower growing out of my rectum. When I first started using this product it seemed to dull the symptoms and I realize that's all I should have expected. The smell did not bother me although it's not all that fun to use an eyedropper in such and area. It's effect seemed to lessen after about three weeks of constant use. Luckily the irritation has lessened with my improved diet and I don't feel the need continue using this product.

Please do not buy into the reviews claiming that it CURED thier hemroids. It's depressing to hear but this will not make your hemroid(s) go away. Chances are most people claiming so had a very mild hemroid that would have healed on it's own or they simply had an internal hemroid that was irritated for a while from a bowel movement. Internal hemroids often can't be felt at all unless they are inflamed from large stool and/or straining on the toilet. Once your regularity returns and you stop straining the hemroid will shrink a bit and likely stop causing you actual pain but it will remain there. However, a stage 3 or stage 4 internal hemroid that has enlarged from frequent irritaton/strain will bulge outside the rectum and must be pushed in or return on thier own, which is very unpleasant/painful

I have 2 small internal hemroids and one of them is very close to my anus, which causes an uncomfortable pressure I must deal with daily. Because of it's position is does get pushed out slightly during a BM. The other one has been there for years and doesn't normally cause me problems because of it's position in my rectum and small size. They don't cause me pain but the pressure is slightly dabilitating and is definately keeping me from enjoying life. I've finally gone to a doctor and now I have to wait another month until I see a specialist. I wish I had done so sooner so that I already had this over with. From what I've seen a lot of people regret waiting to see a doctor (out of embarrassment or price) as thier hopes of the problem fixing itself or a cheap product solving it dissappear. I had been dealing with this mild discomfort for many months and it was a poor decision on my part. working has only become continuously more frustrating and I can tell I'm becoming quite depressed about the whole thing.

To start, best thing you can do is get regular through increased fiber intake, improved diet, and by drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated (otherwise your body will draw more from your food, creating hard stool). Products like these simply help cover up the symptoms. Most people who suffer continuously from hemroids will need to seek professional help to find true relief.

I bought the eucalyptus shower mist and loved it so much (so did my boyfriend) that I thought I would try the lavender. I read somewhere that Juniper Berry essential oil is supposed to be a great topical treatment for Fibromyalgia pain. I figured it was worth a shot and the price was right. I added the essential oil to some unscented lotion and use it as needed when I have a pain flare-up. I'm not sure if it's in my head, or coincidence, or if it actually works, but I've noticed a significant decrease in pain shortly after using my new lotion!

I've also heard you can add it to bath water and soak for whole body relief.

My only dislike is the smell. It smells like pine trees which is unfortunately my LEAST favorite smell. But, it's totally worth it for the pain relief.

The scent was strong for four days of 24-hour use, detectable for maybe a week, and almost undetectable from there, so I'd say a pack of these would last about a month. They're being used in a small electric warmer/nightlight in my bathroom.

I am currently in Afghanistan, and for 12 hours a day 7 days a week I have boots on my feet with thick boot socks. In 110 degree weather, this does SERIOUS damage to your feet. My feet sweat in these boots all day, so by the time I get home the tips of my toes are completely white and wrinkly as if I stayed in the shower too long. It was not painful at first, until about two months ago when the started getting "scaly," discoloring my toe nails, extreme pain at the top of my feet accompanied with severe itching. (Most likely athlete's foot.)

As always, I asked my mom what her remedy would be. For as long as I could remember she has always used Dr. Scholl's products. (More specifically the powders.) I only use powder for the inside of my boots, but HATE the feeling of it on my feet. To me it feels gritty. She sent me a bottle of Dr. Scholl's for her ultra foot cream, and within a few days my feet were back to normal.

I didn't use this product regularly because I cannot get it out here unless somebody mails it to me, however that would not be the situation if I was in the states. I would use it when the persistent foot problems came back, and within days they would clear up. Thank goodness I found it in packs of 4 on Amazon. Once I get the package I will use the lotion daily, because I certainly notice a difference in the feel of my skin. I have recommended this product to MANY Marines (males as well) and every single one of them felt the difference.

The only complaint that I have is the smell is a bit too strong for me. It has a strong peppermint smell, which I have never been a fan of. Also, I don't know if this is just my bottle but when I open the cap, without squeezing, lotion just spills out. I only mention this because 1. there has been many times where it is messy, and gets everywhere and 2. this is like a delicacy to us out here, and it's just a waste.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this lotion works. My feet take a pounding on NYC streets so I pumice them every morning and baby them every chance I get. Still, they were often cracked and peeling. Since using this cream, I've only had one incident of a crack and it quickly went away. My feet are much smoother than before, just after a few days of using this product.

I ordered this for both my family and I and will continue to buy it. All of the other brands on the market (that I have found) are NOT fermented. This fermented brand of CLO has not been heated in the manufacturing process as it is made the way it has been done in traditional civilizations for hundreds/thousands of years. (Check out what the Weston Price Foundation says about fermented CLO as that is how I learned about it) Other CLO's have been heated, destroying many of the life-giving properties in the process.

I wish the other reviewer (who had gotten diarrhea from it and said they were switching back to Carlson's brand) would have continued using it because I believe the diarrhea would have stopped within a few days. I had the same experience when I first used fermented CLO, but it only lasted about 3 days. After that, I never had it again. I am guessing that the diarrhea was simply the result of the fermented CLO having a cleansing effect on the body because fermented CLO is MUCH different from regular CLO and is so much better nutritionally. Once I found out about the heat process involved with regular CLO's (including Carlson's brand as their CLO is not fermented) I felt it was a waste of money to ever buy regular CLO again, no matter the brand.

Also, the orange flavor really isn't that bad at all. The no-flavor kind is the worst, but even my 13 year old daughter took that well. I mean, she didn't like it, but it's not like you have to chew it, or eat it, as that would be REALLY nasty. It is a capsule, so when you throw it in your mouth you get a whiff and slight taste of it in the split second before washing it down. But if my picky daughter (who gets grossed out pretty easily) can do it, anyone can do it.

Make sure you also take butter oil capsules with it. I have read, and been told, that you need both simultaneously to get the benefit. I did not know this when I first started taking it, so I (supposedly) wasted all of my doses for a while. Now I take this along with the butter oil. If anyone is still confused, just go online and google the information...find the answers for yourself if that helps. :)

Before I bought this I tried Green Pasture's Fermented Cod Liver Oil/Butter Oil blend, in gel form. I have a really strong gag reflex and I just couldn't get it down.

I've read about the benefits of FCLO and Butter Oil, though, and I really wanted to be taking them, so I went ahead and ordered a bottle of orange flavor capsules, a bottle of unflavored capsules, and a bottle of butter oil capsules.

First of all, in case you don't realize, if you're taking capsules and you want to be taking 1 tsp per day (per WAPF guidelines), you need to take 8 of these capsules per day. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, you need to be taking 16 capsules (2 tsp) per day. That means, if you want all of the benefits of FCLO, this bottle of 120 capsules will last you 7-15 days. If you can tolerate the flavor, the oil in liquid form is MUCH more economical.

So, on to my experience of these capsules: they are really disgusting. If there is any orange flavor to it, I haven't noticed it, because it smells too much like fish. The capsules definitely are NOT odorless. When I take them, I wait until I'm eating something with a fairly strong flavor--lately, lasagna--then, I hold my breath, put three of these in my mouth, and drink water as quick as I can, and then immediately put a bite of food in my mouth. Sometimes I still gag on the capsules a little, and usually I taste the gross fish taste as they go down. Once in a while I have a fishy burp, which is absolutely disgusting. Overall, though, this process works for me, and I'm glad I've found a way to get the stuff down.

Compared to the unflavored capsules: honestly, these orange ones have had a much stronger gross fish flavor. The company claims that flavor really varies by batch, often just because of the fish's diet...that makes sense to me. So, I suspect I will continue to notice variation among different bottles. The color of these orange ones is a pretty golden orange, which looks much more appealing than the color of the unflavored ones; those are a really gross looking dark brown.

I am also taking these with butter oil (in capsules). Happily, the butter oil pretty much has no flavor at all.

Someone else mentioned Amazon was the cheapest they found this stuff. Actually, it isn't. Today, Amazon is charging $31/bottle. The manufacturer's website sells this for $30/bottle (if you order 1-5 products), or less if you order more products ($25 each if you order 6-11 products, and $22 if you order 12+ products). They do let you mix and match if you want to order the butter oil or something else to get a lower price.

So, in conclusion, this stuff is disgusting, but I believe that it is worth taking anyway. I've been taking it for about a week now, and I've already ordered my next batch. I ordered 3 more of these orange flavored ones, plus a bottle of the orange flavored liquid, and a bottle of butter oil liquid. The capsules have really helped me adjust to the flavor, and I am hoping to transition to liquids in the future, because this is expensive!

I highly recommend these capsules to anyone who had trouble taking non-capsules. These are easier to swallow.

I've been using this cod liver oil for about a week now and so far, it seems to be great. The only downside is the strong fishy after taste. It says on that bottle that it's orange flavor, but all I could taste was fish. Fortunately I like fish so it doesn't bother me much.

I have been taking this product for a little over 2 months. I had taken other brands of vitamin D previously, but this form (fermented) literally transformed my health, and the health of a friend who is undergoing cancer treatment. Immediately I noticed the following positive changes:

* Improvement in pain reduction for muscular injury. I now take this supplement instead of Motrin for pain (muscle & bone). It has calmed my osteoarthritis pain considerably.

* Better cognitive function (bye bye brain fog)& improved mood. I don't consider myself to be "depressed", but it helped anyway. Grey cloudy weather also doesn't affect me the way it used to.

* Healthier teeth and gums. I've had my share of problems with both. I also have little or no plaque on my teeth. One tooth that was rather sensitive feels fine now. The proof was in my last visit to the dentist, that tooth no longer needs treatment & my dental hygienist had very little to do in cleaning my teeth.

* My tongue looks very different & is much healthier. If you're into acupuncture & know about tongue diagnosis, you'll understand the importance of this.

* Energy level is much improved.

* Insomnia improved. I take magnesium/calcium (1000 mg.) along with 2 caps, and I sleep soundly. The cal/mag combination didn't do much for me before taking the fermented D with it.

* I no longer get colds or flu, even though I'm often exposed to people (with kids) who are sick.

* My complexion looks healthier, and people have asked what I've been doing differently. I've only been taking this supplement.
