This serum is a little sticky, slippery and gooey and makes my hair feel somewhat stiff and hard to comb after putting it on. So, I DON'T comb or brush it after massaging it in to my towel dried hair. I just clip my hair up until it dries. When dry, my hair is the most silky, thick, manageable, luxurious feeling, glossy and best conditioned it has ever been. Great traits considering I'm up over 7,300 feet in the driest mountain atmosphere I have ever lived in. The best news??? My formerliy dry, brittle hair is no longer breaking when I brush it! (Gently, of course). I am over 50, (-ish) with longer than shoulder length hair, and I refuse to go to that short, frizzy "old lady" hair. I am not please with this product, it has an after taste or smell of plastic and I find undesirable. I love using coconut oil in all my cooking and baking and body needs.. we eat it right on oatmeal and float a teaspoon on hot chocolate. Lesson learned -buy a small one first when trying a new brand before you buy a gallon tub! Also this product is packaged inside the tub in a plastic bag! It was such a hassle to get the oil out of the tub.

I've always lived by the motto "There's no price on peace of mind", which means (to me) that peace of mind is priceless! I purchased 5 different oils from this company, and as far as the Peppermint, it does smell like Pine Sol as others have commented and nothing like Peppermint. The Eucalypus oil smelled like, you guess it, Pine sol. The Lavender smelled like diluted Pine Sol. I asked other people to smell them and they also thought they all had the same scent. As far as I know, they could have been taken from the same tank and labeled as different oils. My only advice is to purchase your oils from another source. I gave this company a one star only because there wasn't anything lower.
