I've been using Humco Peppermint Spirits in my tea since I was a kid. It's just a way to relax with a warm cup and one of the best aromas Nature has to offer. This product is not readily available in my local stores, since most people either don't know about it or have no idea what it's used for. I use it because it brings back good memories of home and mornings on vacation in Colorado back in the 70's when it was chilly and a good cup of tea with Peppermint Spirits (just a couple drops) would start off my day really nice. My husband had suggested to try peppermint because sometimes we have mice in the house. He said that mice don't like the smell so I took cotton balls around where it was. I have heard the mouse since. and if they come back, just put some more out. It is better than dangerous traps, poisons or other means because of pets or humans. I bought three more bottles, which it cheaper than the previous methods.

This shave cream lathers up thick and rich and very quickly. Not only do I like the subtle scent, but I have actually be complemented out of the blue on it several times when I have been in extra close quarters.

This stuff comes in this little squeeze tube, and in a fairly large tub. It only takes a very little to lather up for a complete 4 pass shave. I'm going for the tub next time.

As for the guy who doesn't like the smell.. well.. to each their own. But even if this was scentless I would still buy this for the quality and thickness of the lather.

I love these pumpkin speeds....

I used to enjoy Trader Joes pumpkin seeds but they were not stockied for some time (which led me order from Gerbs).

I chose the lightly salted because that's my preference and these met my expectations perfectly!

The Gerbs company was also very nice and I have no doubt they would be responsive if there were any issues.

Aside from the light sea salt, there are a variety of salty, spicy, s&p options.

So far I've really liked all the new chapter vitamins. I have no complaints. And I like that the fish oil comes from wild salmon and nothing farm raised. It recommends to take 2 twice a day. On the days that I forget to take the first two and take four at once I will get heartburn but that comes with being 37 wks preggo. So I just recommend to follow the instructions:)

I admit, I'm a big baby when it comes to taking medication. I hate trying to swallow large pills, even if they are gel caps. Finding a fish oil supplement is hard because they are all sold as large pills. These Wholemega Easy caps are perfect. They are slightly less in length than a penny (of course, not as wide). The only downside is that you have to take four a day because they are smaller. Not a problem for me though. I also take these with Zyflamend to keep my arthritis in check.

Since this is a natural product, each lamp has it's own unique beauty. One side of mine is darker than the other so if I want more light to shine through, I just turn it around. I love that I can put essential oils in the receptical on the top to diffuse the scent into the room. You can adjust the amount of scent by the amount of essential oil that you put in the receptical. I put 4 6 drops in for a fairly strong scent. It does take a little time for the oils to heat up but the scent lasts quite awhile. I am very pleased with my salt lamp!

I wanted a salt lamp for my office desk and I wanted an oil burner. Obviously you can't have an open flame in the office so this works perfectly so I can still have my oils burning and the beautiful soft glow of the lamp. The metal cup inserted at the top is bigger than a tea light candle so it's a decent size and the cup is removable so you can just take it out of the lamp to fill it with water which helps.

I got this for my room to diffuse a scented mist by my bedside when I sleep and it works really well. Using very few drops of essential oils it creates a lightly scented mist that is very relaxing. I've been switching all our cosmetics and cleaning supplies over to phthalate free, paraben free, unidentified fragrance free options. Not only is this a complicated process it is an expensive one too. After quite a bit of research and comparing soaps at the health food store I finally settled on Dr Bonner's soaps as being the most trustworthy and the safest for my family. Things I love about this bar soap :

Ingredients: Organic coconut oil, Organic palm oil, sodium Hydroxide (none remains after saponifying oils into soap and glycerin), Water, Organic Olive oil, Organic Hemp oil, Organic Jojoba oil, Natural Almond fragrance, Salt, Citric Acid and tocepherol. The coconut, palm and Olive oil are fair trad certified.

I've tried the Almond and the Rose soaps so far. I very much prefer the Almond since the rose was a bit more astringent. I find that this soap is not at all drying to the skin and gentle enough to use on the face.

While the price may seem steep I have not found it cheaper anywhere else and this bar soap lasts about 3 times as long as our bars of Dove used to.

The price I am referring to is $22 for a pack of 6 (with free shipping over orders of $25) at the time of this review. If that has changed it may not be so good a deal any more. . . . There are many independent sellers who sell at higher prices on the Amazon website so this does make things even more complicated!
