One of my favorite daily hair moisturizers. I'm black with arm pit length relaxed hair. I usually prefer all natural moisturizers but those can be a bit pricey. This is a great store brand moisturizer. It doesn't have mineral oil or petralatum. One of the first ingredients is Shea Butter. It actually has coconut oil in it (unlike the products who say coconut and it's just mostly mineral oil and a coconut fragrance). And it smell divine.
I use a nickel sized amount each night before I go to bed and then seal my hair with pure extra virgin coconut oil. The next day my hair is shiny, moisturized, soft and not greasy.
Just don't go overboard with it and you'll be okay.

I never realized how soft my hair could be. It's straight, dark, and Asian. I dye it once a year if that. It's not 100% healthy because of this, but it is still usually soft to the touch. Since I'm on a budget, I don't spend money on expensive products. I stick to Herbal Essences, and that's the most money that I will spend on shampoo and conditioner. I cut my own hair.
As a free samples junkie, I tend to get free samples of products and then ignore them. I very rarely am inclined to buy the product based on the sample, I just get samples because I like free stuff. But then I encountered this milky hair stuff. It's like crack for your hair. The moment I opened that little sample pouch, the scent got to me. I took out a little glob of the stuff and ran it through my hair. When I woke up the next morning, my hair was so soft that I could NOT STOP TOUCHING it. The tiny little packet ran out in a week, even with me using it every day. A couple of months later, after resisting the urge to buy such a frivolous product, I went out and looked for it. Before I committed to buying it from Amazon, I spent another month shopping around various places that didn't have this brand of coconut "milk". I checked out the oil from an Indian grocery store, but it didn't smell as nice and it wasn't as creamy. Finally, after months of thinking about it I finally bought it.
That was a year ago. The bottle is still about halfway. I started off using it every day, and then I only needed it once a week. Now I use it once every few weeks. As time goes on and you use this product, you need less and less of it. It was so worth it. And I am so addicted.

I use this as my daily moisturizer. It's sooo light.
ALSO! I don't know how this product works but it totally smooths out new growth!
If i get my hair damp, i can put this on and slide a tight hair band over my edges and they are completely smooth. The hair doesn't revert back. I like this better than my $18 jar of keracare edge control!

I agree with everything the previous commenters posted. This is now my FAVORITE moisturizer which I use every other day when styling my hair. It doesn't cause my hair to revert (which is strange since it is a lotion), but leaves my hair moisturized and shiny. I also use the NOW Foods 100% Coconut Oil to seal which is fantastic, and cheaper.

I love this product, it has great slip and provides great moisture and curl definition. I normally do not do drug store hair products as I prefer natural and organic but this is good.
