Smells like cinnamon, and contains small particles for exfoliating the skin. I don't know how healthy product is since I only used it a few times. At that point I read product label and found out it needs to be refrigerated at all times. It was not shipped that way to me. I called Spectrum up to ask about this issue. They told me product did need to be refrigerated, otherwise product breaks down and nutritional value is lost. This is a great oil, suggested by my doctor, for brain and stomach health. The flavor is ok, I find it better mixed in flavorful meals, like herb dip, or mixed with olive oil for improved flavor.
