This is a gritty scrub, that leaves a sheen of oily moisture on your skin, so after you have toweled off, your skin is smooth. The smell to me is sometimes energizing and sometimes calming. I am not sure it has made me feel less stressed, but it is a very good scrub, very coarse. It goes fast though, so if you use it daily like I do it can get price-prohibitive.

I like this product, after using it your skin becomes very soft and smells very nice. This home spa-therapy for your body.This stuff works great for exfoliating dead skin. It leaves my skin super soft and smooth. I only have to use it once a month. This jar lasted me a year. It also feels really nice on aches and pains because it has a cooling effect. It also smells wonderful. It does have a strong smell in the tub, but if you don't like itit doesn't really stay on your skin after the bath anyways.I have never really believed in aromatherapy, but this stuff works for relaxation. I use it with my hand or back scrubber (or have my hubby scrub my back) with this stuff to apply it. It doesn't really work well with a luffa.
