If the person in the previous review realized in the description, the product WEIGHT in ounces means WEIGHT not quantity (FLUID) ounces. They give you the weight for shipping purposes. I can't believe that person gave this product three stars because of that. I believe knowing the difference between weight ounces and fluid ounces was covered in 4th grade.

Anyway, I have my own bath products company where I actually create and sell my own natural products. I use this in my rose items and it is just wonderful! The ladies really love this scent--it's one of my most popular.

This is the least expensive rose essential oil I have EVER found. I have to buy about 10 of them at a time because they don't come in bigger sizes. If you look at the cost of other brands of rose essential oils, you'll see what I mean--it's very high per OUNCE ;) This brand has the least expensive Rose oil per ounce that I have found in the 3 years I have used essential oils.

If you are using this as aromatherapy in the air, remember not to add heat to essential oils as it damages the molecules.

This product left my hair very dry after dying. The packets that came with the dye (shampoo and conditioner) were literally only enough for 1/4 of my hair. I would not recommend this hair dye. Creme of Nature products have something in them that leaves your hair more dry than if you did not use it and I am not sure what it is. The color was intense and what I expected (which is why I give 2 stars), but the quality of my hair after dying it was horrible. I had to co-wash my hair the same day to get some moisture back into it.

This is one of those products that is a very nice surprise when you use it. The clothes just smell wonderful (really scents the air outside too while they're drying!) and it helps with color retention. I've used this Downy for about 4 years now, along with a couple other scents and it doesn't clog my dispenser cup in my washer as much as other products do. Ultra Downy Fabric Softener with its "Vanilla and Lavender" scent does an excellent job of softening my clothing and towels in my washing machine. I have also used it with great satisfaction for many years both at laundromats and in my father's clothes washing machine. It comes in a solid, heavy duty plastic container that won't break and the handle fits around your hand to make it easy to carry, too.

But there's more. After you unscrew the cap, you can turn the cap upside down to use it as a dispensing cup. I like my clothes extra soft so I use at least a full cup. People with itchy skin who want clothing and towels very soft would do well to use a full cup, too. It contains biodegradable fabric softener agents; and when you are washing items that have bright red or similar colors Downy will not cause those items to fade.

Unfortunately, one drawback exists: DON'T use Downy fabric softener if you are washing anything that is flame resistant. It will reduce the flame resistant quality of the garment. This holds true especially for children's sleepwear or garments that are labeled flame resistant. Fabrics containing fleece and terry cloth should not be washed with this product, either. Downy fabric softener makes these fleece and terry cloth items more likely to become flammable; and that's not desirable.

If you're sensitive to scents or perfumes try using Downy in an unscented form.

Overall, Downy Vanilla and Lavender scented fabric softener is just about the best brand when you want to soften your things in the washing machine. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants their wash to come out really nice and soft; Downy fabric softener may be even more helpful if you have "hard" water. It may have a drawback concerning some flame resistant garments; but these can always be washed separately.

As a child, my favorite scent was the delicate aroma of carnation bath salts, which were sold at Boots, a drug store in jolly old England.

Fast forward to my current "incarnation" (pun intended) as an adult and mom in the USA. Imagine my delight to find that someone is selling a carnation essential oil. Mussssst haaaaave... so I purchased.

On the plus side, the scent is very carnation-ish. Definitely reminiscent of the bath salts I soaked in as a child.

However, I don't know if this is, strictly speaking, an ESSENTIAL oil. I will readily admit that I am no expert in the subject, but there seems to be a very faint solvent or "chemical" smell lingering behind the floral scent. It could be my imagination, but it honestly doesn't smell the "same" as the other essential oils in my growing collection, and it isn't very "oily" -more of a "liquid" (?) than an oil.

Sorry to be so vague. It smells very nice -so if you like the smell of carnations, go ahead and purchase. And if you are an essential oil expert, please give us your professional review on its authenticity as an "essential oil." ;-)

I already use Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent, and when I use these dryer sheets with them, the combination is perfect! I really love them. These (along with the Free & Clear Unscented Dryer Sheets) are the first dryer sheets I've used in years as I'm very sensitive to chemicals. These look similar to regular chemical-full dryer sheets but are the color of brown grocery bags with raised bumpy areas like a paper towel. They have a very subtle scent compared to conventional brands and they work very well to soften my clothes.

You should know that these dryer sheets do not soften as much as the chemical dryer sheets, but that's fine with me; before using these there were no dryer sheets whatsoever that I could tolerate so my clothes were pretty stiff. In addition, the sheets don't leave anything behind that I'm allergic to, or anything at all that I can notice besides softness and less static cling.

I had been very impressed after first trying the Free & Clear Unscented Dryer Sheets and so I also tried these, and I do like a nice scent even better. Both are great and it just depends upon whether you want no fragrance at all or a very light, subtle, natural fragrance. Neither bother my chemical sensitivities. I have continued to use these for about two years and am very happy with them.

Highly recommended.

These dryer sheets left greasy, oily stains all over a brand new dress that I put in the dryer (inside out) for about 15 minutes to remove static. Needless to say I'm furious. Not only was my dress still full of static, but I now have a completely ruined oil-stained dress on my hands. I'm hoping the dry cleaners will be able to work some magic to restore my dress, but in the meantime, I'm trashing my Seventh Generation dryer sheets. I didn't see any warning on the box indicating that the essential oils in the product could potentially stain clothing. I see no merit in using natural laundry products like this if they're only going to destroy my clothing.

I have a sams/costco sized stash of other detergents/softenersbut now that I found these, they are all I use. I love the fresh scent, and it doesn't break out my skin or make my eyes itch to sleep on sheets laundered in seventh generation productsa rarity. Plus, they are compostable unlike polyester sheets and wellthis is just a warm fuzzy thingon the box they even encourage you to hey. tear this thing in half, you probably don't need the whole thing. The only drawback is that it doesn't do that quick "I have cat hair on my black pants I'll run a quick dryer sheet over it to remove the hair" thing very well. Meh. I have lint brushes. And a lot of my old kind of dryer sheets that I apparently not going to use for anything else.

A+.....I'll admit, these smelled gross in the store. They smelled equally gross when I got them from amazon... HOWEVER, the dryer scent was minimal and didn't stink..it was NICE. I didn't experience any of the staining that i experienced with the purex washer/dryer sheets (those used to leave terrible stains in the dryer that would require a seconds washing). These do not do that.... they work great. I also found that these worked better than the freeandclear ones from 7th gen. I have a fleece (which is says not to use these on, but w/e) that is always full of static with other softeners.... not this one... .static gone! I also appreciate that these are compost able (I don't compost them, but I appreciate that it isn't plastic that can't be recycled). YES, they are weird when you have been using the snuggle or whatever for 20 years...but you'll get used to it if you try. Especially when you compare ingredients!

I got this soap first at Nordstrom when I was looking for as many skincare products with Tea Tree Oil on them.

I really liked the soap and was happy to find it here in Amazon!

It does not dry your skin, it has a pleasant smell that is subtle not overpowering.

It cleans well.

Most importantly, it is hypoallergenic. I am a person who has very sensitive skin I get a bad rash with cheap soap (I am talking public bathroom soap). This soap is very gentle.

I think it has also helped clear my skin it is a long term beenfit of tea tree oil.

Yes, it is expensive, but it is a very good soap for those with sensitive skin.

I tried the Paul Mitchell soap. I didn't like it. It was not gentle and it formed a awful foam and left my skin feeling weird. The bar also went down faster than this one. (With this one you get a nice chunky block of soap).

UPDATE: This bar is wonderful. Continues to deliver great results on my skin specially face. I have good looking, clear skin, a nice vibrant complexion. I have stocked around 10 of them (just in case). I hope they never go out-off-market. Tea Tree Oil is a great cleansing ingredient for skin!

I'm not sure if large pores is an accurate description, but a friend of mine has had 2 derm abrasion treatments, has tried the African soap sold on Amazon, and nothing has worked as well as this. I got these for my teenage daughter because I had a hard time getting her to wash her face at night. These are much more convenient, and does not dry her skin. I have a mild form of Alopecia Areata. I had been reading about natural ways to help hair regrow in the bald spot areas. Because the other option is a $200+ steroid that I'd rather not try... GNC usually has good products. I think that this one is "great". I like to take fish oil for my heart health and for my joints -mid 30's with arthritis -While I wish my joints were pain free, I still have to take scripts, this fish oil has the good ol Neptune Krill Oil in it too -which, from what I've researched is much more potent in controlling inflammation. Whenever I run out of Nordic Naturals ProEFA and don't get it again quickly enough, I hear from my autistic son's therapists. There is a decrease in eye contact and an increase in stimming behaviors. I got this because it's supposed to help with speech. It has not been a miracle cure for us with speech as it has been for others, but I know it does help! Overall improvement for us.
