I received this product earlier than what I had thought. The packaging was extremely secure, almost to the point that it was difficult to get it open. That's a good thing though. It came wrapped in layers of newspaper, my fiance and I had a kick out of browsing the pages and seeing how newspapers are set up in a different country. It was very neat. This isn't the green stuff I was expecting... it's greyish green and goes to brown when it's wet, but whatever. I'm not sure the color has much to do with anything, to be honest. Just means there's a slightly different mineral component. It does have a slightly, vaguely swampy smell, like what you'd expect from stuff dug up from a wet area. But my nose is hyper sensitive. My husband smelled nothing at all.

This is not as super fine as I was expecting; I put it into a mason jar for storage and got some interesting sediment layers. I tried to steer the grittier parts to the parts that needed more grit, like my elbows. Yes, I put it on my elbows to help exfoliate. It's that good a price, I felt. I left the finer stuff in a mask (about a 1:1 water:clay ratio) on my face, neck and chest, and since about a teaspoon covered those areas and still had some left over, this will last a long time with once a week use.

The shipping can be a hassle. Apparently Homeland Security is on the lookout for natural health and beauty products that could possibly endanger, uh... the homeland's natural health and beauty product industry? No, wait, that can't be it... we don't have one of those... endanger, uh... I give up. I never got the first shipment because it was apparently confiscated by someone probably who said "Ooh, I've been meaning to try this stuff! Yoink!". I contacted the seller and was promptly sent another one.

Took a loooong time to arrive. I do have the patience of a gnat though. And it did have to travel across a large body of water. Also, to be fair, I knew right away it would not be a quick delivery. The shipment date when you order, etc, is pretty clear about that. So no problem there. Good service overall. It came packed ridiculously well. Better protected than Fort Knox. It took me awhile to break into it, lol.

I will upload a photo for you of what I received. (stay tuned as I have never done this before and may be completely inept)

It is not silky smooth. It does have a bit of coarseness to it.

I sifted it and took comparison photos.

This will work fine for my intended use, which is body wraps. If you are looking for something that needs to be perfectly smooth and has very microscopic granules, you will need to sift it and maybe pulverize further to achieve that.

I took a tablespoon of the clay powder and added water to it to see if the graininess would resolve itself when wet. To some extent it did. There were actually a few tiny (really tiny) bits of sand that obviously did not dissolve. You would want to strain thru a very fine cloth or seive to remove them.

While the small grains might be problematic for some applications, this will work just fine for my intended use. Just keep in mind what your end result needs to be before purchasing. Super fine in this instance does not mean silky and soft like a really good baby powder. Then again, I am not a cosmetic scientist and this may be what super fine means in that industry.

I've used Dominica Bay Rum Aftershave for many years. It is highly recommended. This soap is a complement to that natural scent. The soap has a very rich lather so it doesn't take too much. Don't leave this one sitting in the soap dish or it will diminish quickly for an expensive bar. It dries relatively quickly in a nice aerated dish. Good for shower. The small bits (Bay Rum Leaf?) can be a little scratchy for a sensitive skin, but the scent and lather are worth it to me.

I've used a multitude of cleansers throughout my teenage years (Purpose, Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash/Scrub, etc.), but I'm happy I finally found a cleanser that works for my oily, acne-prone skin. In high school, I had acne, but it was an occasional pimple here and there, no big deal. I about two years ago, and have since moved to Florida (very different from my homeland of Connecticut). I don't know if it was the climate change, or what...but my face exploded. I went from having an almost flawless face to having some acne scarring around my mouth, in just a year or so!

That's where it was the worst. Around my mouth. I had to spend at least fifteen minutes every day applying concealer and foundation just to cover it all up, and I refused to step out into public without any makeup on. It was painful, and downright embarrassing. My self esteem was ruined.

I tried a ton of products: masks, face washes, spot treatments, wipes etc. But they all failed miserably. Nothing even managed to make a dent in my problem.

One night I went to walmart in search of a product, and stumbled upon this face wash. Now, it's a three step process (wash, toner, and moisturizer). I bought all three, only cost me about $15.00 total.

It didn't work immediately, but after a week or so I noticed that my face had cleared up substantially. It isn't perfect. But it only takes a few minutes to put makeup on now, my face isn't constantly in pain, and I do wander out into public bare faced sometimes.

Of course, no product is perfect. But this one actually works. And that's all I could ask for.

The only downside is that you have to use it religiously. I go through the process of washing my face, toning, and moisturizing every morning when I wake up, and every night when I'm showering/ getting ready for bed (it really only takes a few minutes). If you miss a step, or slack off on doing it, all of that hard work will disappear. I ran out of the face wash and toner at about the same time, and went a few days without buying new ones, and my face lashed out in serious revenge. SO I guess it doesn't get rid of the problems leading to my acne, it just puts them into hibernation lol! But I don't mind. I follow the steps, and my face looks better than it did a few months ago.

Definitely recommend you give it a shot.

I agonized over choosing a pair of microwave booties; the prices are high and low and the reviews are few and far between and people never seemed to give the information that i wanted most to know.

These are so perfect, they're everything I wanted and more, I'm so very glad I went with these! There are 2 minor downs but I think they're baggage that any of these type of thing carries; 1) I hate that you only nuke the first time for 30 seconds, then 10, then 10, then 10 to taste. I admit I'm cheating and going for 30, then 15, then 15. I don't want to risk ruining them, but I like them very hot and hate waiting. 2) The lavender scent is VERY strong. If you don't like that, remove the scented sachet and you're good (but I bet they'll still have some residual scent, it's STRONG.)

Here's what I wanted to know but had trouble finding out: They have the wheat filling sewn into the entire sole of the foot, toe to heel. They have a second hot packet of wheat that fits in the top of the bootie. There's no wheat packet for the ankle or leg. They have a textured slipper sole, but really with the packet underfoot they are not meant for walking onit's too uneven and dangerous. Once heated the entire foot is encased in gently radiating warmth, it's a very substantial feeling and there's only the area from the ankle bone around the back of the heel to the other ankle bone without direct heat pressure. The bootie keeps heat inside, though, so it's not a cold spot, just somewhere that there's no weight of grain.

They are incredibly easy to use; you put the pair of boots (whole, no disassembly) on a plate or paper towel in a carousel microwave with a half cup of water, zap them for 30 seconds, test their temp, zap them for an additional 10 seconds and test, repeat as needed up to 2 minutes. The directions specify carousel microwave if you don't have the rotating plate you will probably need to start with a much shorter 10 second start and then rotate it by hand for each following 10 second zap.

I broke a bone in my right foot, and my PT is tiring out the muscles of my foot, especially painful at the arch. Using these is pure heaven, I like them a little hotter than they probably should be, but sitting here pressing my foot down on the hot grain and having the hot weight resting on top of my foot from toes to the bridge is the most wonderful feeling. It's as good as having a foot bath going with so much less hassle and none of the mess. I spent so much time pouring over Amazon reviews for hot booties, I wish I'd settled down and chosen these sooner.

I was looking for some nice heated booties for when I work on the computer in a colder room in my home. These looked so darn cute, I just found them irresistable.

Pros Unique pattern although the white on the cow pattern can get stained/dirty easily, scented heat packets sit above and below the foot which is a definite perk, elastic is just right they stay up without being too tight, once the fragrance mellows out, I think it will be a nice feature, they are washable after removing the inserts. They are comfortable and somewhat warm even if you don't heat them or keep them heated. When warmed, they do not make my feet sweaty or too hot feeling. I had some reservations when it said item would take 3-5 weeks to ship, but I was delighted to receive the order in approximately one week instead.

Cons They are made for BIG feet. The package says they fit up to size 9.5. I wear 8.5WW and these are quite large on me, at least a good size and a half. If you have a size 9.5 foot, great, otherwise they are definitely going to be big. They'd fit better if I wore thick socks but if I wanted to wear thick socks I probably wouldn't have bought this product. The directions state very clearly you should heat the entire bootie not just the inserts. They recommend 30 seconds and then adding 10 second increments. I have a strong microwave and even heating them for 2 minutes has not produced any significant lasting warmth. I am a little concerned about microwaving something with buttons etc. longer than that but I think I may need to really nuke these for awhile. The fragrance in the booties is VERY potent so if you are very sensitive to scents, I would not purchase. I purposely did not buy the booties with lavender because it's just not my favorite scent. I believe the cow print is supposed to have rosemary, pine and lemon but my booties smell very much like lavender. I wonder how careful they are with matching the correct scent packs with the booties. On the back of the booties, there is a button that fits through an elastic loop and the scent insert goes inside. On one of the booties, I find that the button tends to come undone leaving the bottom flapping open, even with casual lounging around. Velcro or some other closure may have been a better choice.

Other notes: They are comfortable for sitting or lounging around. Walking in them is not recommended or advisable. It is not comfortable and probably not very safe. This can be a pain if you are like me and tend to get up and down a lot. I know from other microwaveable booties, at best they are going to stay warm about 20-30 minutes. To be honest, if not for the cow pattern which I really fell in love with, I might have returned them. I am not faulting the product though. I actually think these are more well-made than others I have seen or tried, however in general microwave booties just don't retain heat for that long.

I am very happy with this massage oil. The price is right and it is very easy to use. It's not excessively oily and rubs into skin without creating that kind of coated feeling that is so unappealing to the person you are massaging.

The fragrance was not strong and suitable for either gender. I have some words of advice though if you travel. Use packaging or duct tape to tape it up and put it in its own bag. I learned the hard way! It will leak a bit so make sure it has it's own place.

This also works very well with the Hitachi Magic Wand Massager.

I eat freshly prepared seeds (pumpkin, acorn squash, etc) on a regular basis, but they're a bit time consuming to prepare. I tried Barleans Omega Man, which contains flax and pumpkin seed oil, and it tastes amazing. Very fresh flavor of seeds. I also applaud you for narrowing down your search to encompass liquid products that are not encapsulated in TiO2/cellulose (gelatin), and do not have alcohol-based fillers. That being said, let me tell you about my experience with this product.

I use this in my smoothie every morning. A tablespoon added to a 32oz concoction yields no adverse taste. The GMO-free blend of plant-based Omega compounds is also quite comprehensive. This product appears to offer precisely what it advertises in terms of nutrition content. The nozzle also appears thoughtfully designed, as it requires the application of not-insubstantial pressure to eject the solution from the container, allowing you to dispense it in measured doses.

Here, however, are the caveats that come with this product:

1 It's 12oz For precisely $1 more, you can purchase a 16oz container of Barlean's Total Omega. At a roughly 4% increase in cost, you get a 33% greater quantity of product with a more-nutritionally-beneficial 3-6-9 blend (more on that in a moment). I run out of this product in less than a month at the rate at which I burn through smoothies, whereas the Total Omega lasts considerably (I'd guess 33%) longer.

2 It congeals This isn't exactly terrible, but it can be annoying. The Total Omega solution has not once congealed on me. The Omega Man, however, has never failed to congeal by the time half of the container is empty. This occurs only at the nozzle, but it nonetheless makes the Omega Man difficult to dispense about half of the time, requiring you to vigorously shake the bottle, hit it against the counter, and squeeze it rather harshly to dispense solution.

3 It's only from plant-based sources This is probably one of the reasons you honed in on this product, but here is the issue with plant-based Omegas. You're essentially getting just ALA (Alpha-linoleic Acid), which your body must then convert into DHA (docosahexaneoic acid). DHA is the Omega fatty acid your brain will snap up to construct the ion channels in your neurons (facilitating the transmission of electrical impulses across neurons i.e. boosting cognition); this is the "miracle" compound that is responsible for much of the positive literature on Omega fatty acids. ALA, however, is converted to DHA in a proportion that does not effectively exceed 15%. By using only plant-based Omegas, you're missing out on one of the key benefits of Omega fatty acids. I always use Omega Man in combination with Total Omega, to ensure that I am taking in the full spectrum of Omegas. I recommend that you consider doing the same.

Overall, this is a great product, though the quantity is lacking and the benefits are not optimal if this product is used as the only source of Omega supplementation.
