I received the Lime very fast. The product however sells different then the lime I have had in the past. The smell to me is not as good and refreshing as the Products I have gotten in the past from other Places. It could be just the strength it is also. I LOVE this shampoo. When my baby was around 8 months old, she developed a crusty, flaky scalp. Her pediatrician told us to use a standard over-the-counter dandruff shampoo (i.e. Selsun Blue, Head and Shoulders), and I did at first, but I couldn't bear putting chemicals I couldn't pronounce on her head. So I looked for a natural scalp treatment shampoo and found this one. Her flaky scalp was gone within a few uses of this shampoo, and after a few months we stopped it and went back to her normal shampoo, and the problem never came back.

Fast-forward two years, and I developed weird crusty, flaking scales on MY scalp, which my doctor described as "psoriatic dryness," although she didn't full-on diagnose it as psoriasis. I was dismayed--I'd never had a day of scalp issues in my life before this, no dandruff, nothing. She prescribed a steroid cream and told me to use over-the-counter dandruff shampoos, but I absolutely did not want to put greasy cream on my head and use those shampoos. I figured, why not give Alaffia a try? So I got this shampoo again, and it took care of the problem within about two weeks of use. Now I alternate it with my regular shampoo.

It worked for both me and my baby, so if you have any type of scalp issue, please give this stuff a try. Yes, it dries your hair and makes it feel squeaky squeaky clean, but to remedy this I just used my usual awesome conditioner with it (Aubrey Organics Island Naturals conditioner), NOT the conditioner that comes with this shampoo--it doesn't leave my hair soft and moisturized enough.

I expected this to be gentle which I associate with leaving at least some of the natural oil in my hair which is very dry. I shampooed only once and even with that and a good conditioner my hair feels very clean, but very dry. And of course with that extra clean went a bit of my hair color. In all fairness I don't believe the bottle said that it was gentle or that it is safe for color-treated hair. It is supposed to be good for your scalp etc. Scalp does feel good and clean. I am going to give it four stars because I love the concept of truly natural products and my scalp does feel clean :)

It does have a wonderful summer smell that I associate with grass though. It's slightly floral, with a hint of some type of weed that I remember smelling as a child. I bought this item a few months ago to refill my store bought tea tree oil bottle. I still have half of a bottle! This is such a great deal! I use tea tree oil for everything! For washing my face, cleaning a cut, put it in my shampoo/conditioner to help with dry scalp, put it on mosquito bites, literally everything!

As for the product sent to me, i haven't noticed a difference between it and the store bought one. I saw a comment saying that they have had better tea tree oil, but i can't tell. It gets the job done at a great price. Definitely can't complain!

I've used tea tree oil for a long time and this was not tea tree oil. It was definitely mixed with something else and it smelled liked gasoline not the regular medicinal Vicks type like scent. When I got the package the box was crushed and the bottle was leaking and boy did it majorly stink. I had to send the it at my own cost even though it arrived damaged. NEVER AGAIN! I will only buy therapeutic grade oils from now on.

I bought the 2 Oz. bottle of this stuff. I have used essential oils for years instead of cologne and because I just like it. So I feel that I am familiar with several venders and the smell associated with these essential oils. I would also add that I have taken courses at college which teach specifically about the properties which make an essential oil beneficial or aromatic. Most oils will burn your skin as they are volatile esters which vaporize at room temperature giving you the smell. They also are solvents which can absorb into the skin quickly and irritate some skin types. I have had some batches burn more than others due to the content of volatile compounds or even melt some plastics. They do however share some properties that make them unique and beneficial. So I ordered this opened it and was pissed...I cannot stress to you enough that this smells like a fresh Goodyear tire...it's the only thing that comes to mind. If I search for it I might sense a little bit of a Myrrh scent but more anise than anything. So my conclusion is that this is not what was claim. I have bought ___ brands 20% essential which I don't like either and it smells more similar to that. Sorry it's just the plain truth and I don't know how anyone could buy it and not have the same opinion.

This is my favorite toilet cleaner. We don't let our toilets get filthy, so I can't speak to how well it would work if you put it to a difficult test. But it has a pleasant minty smell that's not overwhelming or obnoxious in a bathroom, and I'm happy that it's less dangerous to have around. It won't bleach holes in my jeans if it splashes and isn't quite as toxic to kids and pets as most commercial toilet elixirs, though it's still not good for anyone to sip, no matter how nice it smells, so don't.
