I think this is fine for a body soap, but it's not necessarily a great choice for a shampoo. I purchased this for my children to use for both, but I think it dulls their hair and isn't a great cleanser. My older son complained that it made his scalp itch. The scent is nice and not overpowering.

I was also disappointed that the pump was completely broken off when the bottle arrived, but I chose to use it as a refill in an existing dispenser in the shower.

My father-in-law gifted us with a bottle of this Life-Flo Macadamia Oil. I love coconut oil for skin, so I wasn't all that surprised that I loved Macadamia Oil. What was surprising was that after just a short time, the oil was absorbed and did not leave a greasy feeling. And, though at first it has a nutty scent, that too disappears in a short time. I do not like perfumes, nor do I like to buy scented lotions, so the fact that the nutty scent disappeared after a time, was pleasing to me. I got this cause I was on this oil kick there for a min. I was using all kinds of other oil before I used it. I have given a sample to my mom who started using it (my mom is 73). She used it as a face moisturizer in the morning and that at night. I noticed a difference in her skin, it looked more pump and smoother. I asked what she was using not remembering I have given her a sample in a plastic travel bottle I had. She was like that oil you gave me a while back! Needless to say I started to use it as well. I don't use it all the time because it does take a while to absorb into your skin (5-10 min), more time than my argon oil I have so I mostly use it at night but it makes my skim plump and feel comfortable. It doesn't break me out or anything so I like it. Huge bottle so I will last a while even with me giving out samples. FYI does have a nutty smell to it that might take time to get used to.

this stuff is fantastic, and let me start off by saying I'm a man. I bought some EO lavender bubble bath for a sexy date night for my gf at the time (fiance now). So relaxing! Close the door, dim the light, pop a bottle of bubbly and let the magic unfold. Fast forward about a year or 2. I was shopping at Marshals home store and I saw a 32 oz bottle for around 14-17 bucks. I bought both the lavender and mint/rosemary version of the product. Both were great. Only problem is my fiance kept using, ie stealing the lavender :)

Low and behold I was out before I knew it. I swear I search Marshals for the next 2 months and no avail. I missed my shampoo. Now let me state right here and now, I was that guy who just bought whatever was on sale at the grocery....but this stuff, its great. Hair felt amazing, and my significant other loved the way it smelled, it was a win win. I searched the internet far and wide or another deal, but nothing. I mean I found it, but it was an arm and a leg. So I finally gave in and bought this 3 bottle deal with amazon and saved another 15% by signing up for their subscription service. Bottom line, buy this stuff, your hair will thank you and your significant other will love the smell, assuming she likes the lavender scent. The mint and rosemary was great too, and I would have bought that again but it was a bit pricier so I just went with this. Buy it, treat yourself.

Oh and on a side note, I have a ever so slowly receding hairline, and I'm not making scientific claims here but I felt like this might have slowed the process. Noticed lots less hair in my hands after lathering in there. Again, maybe this is all in my head, but I'm sold on it.

I bought this shampoo, and the conditioner that goes with it, because lavender is a favourite fragrance. The shampoo is a fraction more drying than I'd like, and the conditioner (which I admit I don't leave in) is a little bit less effective than I'd like. And the fragrance, which is wonderful on application, doesn't last. Having said all of which I still like the product because my hair and scalp feel clean and fresh, and I don't get the claggy, heavy kind of feeling that some conditioners leave one with.

I really like the EO products. The smells no matter which you pick are always fantastic. This shampoo is not one of my favorite products though. Won't be buying again unless they change the formula (but EO, please don't add any wheat protein to your products keep them gluten free!). I have medium thick, straight hair and this shampoo just always left my hair feeling like it had not been cleaned on all the layers. It smelled nice, but just didn't cut the mustard.

I am addicted to EO products and this shampoo is no exception. The lavender smell is amazing. You can just breathe it in for a bit before shampooing and your stress level will decrease. The shampoo is all-natural (which I require), but lathers well and is gentle enough for my color-treated hair. I love this stuff.

I love lavendar and have a lot of EO's products in their lavendar scent. I have normal hair so this worked out great! I really like the fact that EO uses essential oils in their products to get the true scent of an ingredient instead of artificial scents. Essential oils lasts longer and the fragrance isn't annoying. This also comes with a conditioner which I tried as well. This shampoo lathers up really well and depending on the length of your hair or how dirty your hair is, you don't really need a lot of it when using it.

This stuff is great for cleaning wood. You can mix it with vinegar and alcohol to make a room spray. I got that last tip from a person who locally sells the same stuff (Orange Oil) in 15 milliliter bottles for the same price. What a bargain to find it in a bottle this size.

I initially tried the Giovanni Body Wash while visiting my sister in CA. She said she bought it at Whole Foods, but when I returned home, my Whole Foods did not carry it.

Of course, I checked Amazon and it was there....and for a good price. It was then that I noticed the Body Scrub too. I purchased both items and was so pleased that I did.

First, I love the scent...its very unique. Clean, fresh and not "perfumey"...very natural. I use this both as a Body Wash as well as a bath additive. Its not overly "sudsy" which I like. It rinses well and leaves behind fresh, clean and soft skin. I'm very, very happy with this purchase and will definitely purchase it from Amazon again.

This Spectrum brand says 1000 mg of fish oil, but does not say what the EPA and DHA contents are. Those chemicals are the essence of what's called fish oil. Without those numbers in milligrams you don't know what 'oil' is in this stuff. Omega-3 is mainly taken to reduce Triglycerides, 'if' it has the right ingredients.

My lipid specialist doctor's recommended dose of Omega-3 is 3000 mg per day to reduce Triglycerides. The dose is calculated by totaling EPA and DHA and dividing that into 3000. For LOVAZA pharmacy grade that's 3000mg / (465 EPA + 375 DHA) = 840 mg, or 4 capsules per day. LOVAZA cost me $125.10 for 90 capsules, or $5.60 per day at 4 capsules per day. That's expensive. I have been looking for an over-counter replacement, but not this stuff. The cost is less than LOVAZA, BUT how do you know the product is safe (no contaminates or mercury) and the EPA DHA mgs on the bottle is accurate? This ad for Spectrum does not say what they are at all. LOVAZA has been approved by FDA and every lipid doctor I talk to recommends it. They just don't trust over-counter supplements, especially ones that are vague about the actual contents.

Murad Vitalic Pomegranate Moisturizer

I have been a fan of Murad Brightening Treatment for years and was dismayed when it was discontinued. I have been buying it off ebay and other retailers that still had a supply, but this month I decided to finally give up on it and try something new (and something I wouldn't have to hunt down and pay ridiculous prices for everytime I ran out).

I tried a few other lotionsthey were either too heavy, too oily, too thick, too pore-clogging, too light, or no sunscreen. Finally I ordered the Murad Vitalic Energizing Pomegranate lotion after reading it had a decent SPF and was a nice, light moisturizer.

After a few days using it here are my initial observations:

It's a really nice LIGHT lotion that goes on smoothly and evenly. It's not at all oily, and leaves skin smooth and silky after application. I *did* feel some tingling (which I am guessing is the "energizing" aspect of it), but it was a just the littlest hint of tingle, sort of like drinking mint iced tea. It seemed to bring a slight rosy glow to my facenot "allergic reaction" red, but sort of like my face was freshly scrubbed and clean after a long hot shower. My skin is sensitive, but this does not cause a negative reaction.

The only cons I have so far is that it leaves my face VERY shinynot oily or greasy, just sort of like I added a glaze to my skin. If you wear foundation and/or powder (I just wear a light mineral powder), it's fine, and the makeup GLIDES on perfectly over the Vitalic lotion, but if you don't wear makeup, it may be turn off for you. The shine does fade after a while, but it's pretty intense right after application.

I haven't used the Vitalic long enough to tell if it's going to clog my pores, cause breakouts, or really improve my skin tone, but as a light lotion to keep my face from drying out and for some basic SPF coverage, the Vitalic is great.

I'll update my review if anything changes. But for now I'm so relieved I've found a replacement for my beloved Brightening Treatment...

Having used the Tarte version of this oil and after reading the high praise from other reviewers I ordered this product. It does NOT sink in to the skin like the Tarte Maracuja oil I've used...it's just "okay". The price is fantastic to a point where it should have occurred to me that something might not be what I hoped. The other MAJOR problem I had was I placed a separate order at the same time for my sister as a gift. When my package arrived I was shocked (and embarrassed) at how awful the presentation was...just the bottle alone, no box, with a piece of clear masking tape squashed down over the cap (to hold it on during shipping, I guess). The shipment was in a mailing envelope and the plastic bottle was oily, so some product may have leaked out. I immediately called my sister and apologized for the crappy-looking gift! She was gracious, but I'm still chagrined.
