Recently purchased this soap along with the lavender and clove and peppermint and chickweed soaps. All 3 are really good, but this one is my favorite. The soap lathers well and the scent if great. Good quality, pure oil. Only needs a couple of drops to do the job. This is not an oil you would use to add "fragrance" unless you like the musty smell, but rather for its properties.

I have to admit that I am not a master of what myrrh should smell like this is my first purchase of myrrh. But I will say that the scent of this oil is pleasant, soft, and subtle. This is a gentle scent. It is woodsy and a bit "ambery", reminiscent of some amber resin smell, I think. Because of the price of myrrh essential oil, I chose to buy the smaller amount (lower price to try it out). Next time, I will buy it in the larger size from this same seller. The scent of this essential oil is just lovely.

So, first a disclaimer... this product is intended as a regrow lotion for African American hair, which, as a fair-skinned brunette, I do not have. I purchased this product initially because I could not find the "old-school" VO5 hair dressing in the tube. I have very long hair, and I add a tiny bit of "grease" to the ends to keep it healthy. I am NOT disappointed. This stuff smells much better, is smoother, goes further, and soaks in very quickly. If just using my tub (not the 25% bonus) on my hair it would last several years.

My tub lasted 6 months. I use it on everything. It's the BEST moisturizer I've ever found. This is essentially olive oil, vitamin E, and aloe. All amazing for your skin. I even stopped using my $80 kinerase eye cream because this moisturizes so effectively that i no longer need it to "hide" the little lines around my eyes. I use it on my elbows, on my lips before bed, to soothe skin and protect it after waxing...i've even used it to keep a cold sore from cracking.

Its amazing. For whatever you use it for. Including your hair.

oh, and as to the growth claim? After using it as an eye cream I've had to up my tweezing/trimming to a weekly chore... i used to get away with once a month. So yeah, it helps your hair grow, too ;)

I rermember my sister friend came over to do my sister hair and she headed over to the beauty supply to get some grease so as soon as she was finish I had smell the palmers grease and it smell really good. I applied it on my hair for the past two weeks and I couldn't believe how much difference it made my hair look.I have beautiful thick hair before I used this product I was using soft sheen. Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The smell was really nice, though it did not smell like lavender. Unfortunately, it did not last that long. It lasted about two weeks. While it worked it was great, though. The smell was more like a spicy vanilla, imo.

UPDATE: I noticed some reviewers have said that they don't smell anything at all coming from the diffuser. If this is the case, I believe the fragrance packet may be installed backwards. On the diffuser, there are a bunch of round holes on one side and one swooshy hole on the other side. When the fragrance pack is inserted properly, the plastic bubble side should be toward the swoosh and the flash papery side should be toward the round holes. Looking down at the diffuser from the top, there is a plastic piece near the center on the round holes side that sticks out about half an inch. This plastic piece is what pierces the fragrance pack to release the fragrance. The flat papery side needs to sit against this in order for that to work.

It doesn't really smell like lavender--I think it has more of a citrus smell than anything. The instructions say to place the diffuser "on a surface near your pillow," however the scent is a little too strong for placement so close to a sleeping area (in my opinion) and it did nothing to help me feel more rested (though I didn't really expect it too). The diffuser itself is a nice, dark color and I found it fairly easy to hide, but the "Moonlit Lavender" scent was just disappointing.
