Back story: I blog. When Amazon created the opportunity to link products with topics in a blog and give a few coins for any sales a blog generates, I signed on. My recent blog concerned Restless Legs Syndrome and Mirapex, a medication to counter RL's terrible effects. With the new Amazon link, a list of products appears in a sidebar: book, pharmacy, and MyoMed P.R.O. Restless Legs Syndrome Relief.
I doubted, but I ordered anyway. It came in the mail yesterday. I immediately opened the box and found the shaving cream type pump product. Sat down and examined the container. It is designed to use upside down on legs. However, the sheet of instructions also includes all these other uses for MyoMed. Yeah, right, I thought. This will be a miracle product, if it even halfway works.
Pumped (take that two ways). For Restless Legs the places to rub the cream are the bottoms of the feet (a kind of reflexology, I thought). Wow, how cool! I mean that literally. Warning: The aroma is quite strong--medicinal, particularly mentholated. It'll open your sinuses, for sure. Then treat the Restless Legs problem areas--along the shin bone and through the calves. Ow, how painful, but rub anyway. So cool! Next the two pressure points above the knees and the two behind the knees (just as in fibromyalgia).
While I was at it, I rubbed the cream onto my left ankle and foot, my neck, tops of shoulders, area around left elbow, and small of back. Let's see how this works on old injuries and fibromyalgia. Took a brief nap. When I awoke, I stood up immediately, forgetting this horribly painful left foot I've been dragging around for a couple of months.
Years (and years and years) ago, when I was a young teacher, I was practicing basketball with other teachers and students for a Student-Teacher Basketball Game. One girl--in fun and frustration--took my arm and slung me around. When she let go, I fell on my left foot, painfully spraining my ankle. It took forever for that foot to heal. Years later I discovered during x-rays for another ankle injury that I had cracked a bone in that foot and it didn't heal properly. Periodically, pain in that area flares up. This time I've had real problems with the pain and walking without limping. (I'm old and don't want to walk old.)
I could NOT believe it!! All the pain was gone in my foot. I could put my weight down fully and walk completely normally. My legs felt better, but the real test would be at night when I went to bed. Note: Absolutely no problem there either, but I had also taken my old medication instead of the new which did not work.
All my family members also have pain of some sort--we are all getting old. I made a special trip to try out MyoMed on them. My 89-year-old mother has two bad knees which are devastating this woman who hates to have anyone do anything for her. She gardens sitting in a chair and bending over. That's how bad her pain is. I rubbed MyoMed into her knees and the four pressure points. After 15 minutes she stood without a problem.
Rubbed MyoMed into my brother's hand, which cramps into a claw in the morning. In a few minutes he was opening and closing his hand without pain. My sister-in-law also has ankle and leg pain, so I rubbed her feet and legs. She also felt relief.
Second day: When I got up this morning, I stepped gingerly on my foot, forgetting that I had used MyoMed. A little pain, but not much. I could walk easily without limping.

These include Menthol, Oil of Camphor, Methyl Salicylate, Eucalyptol Oil, and Oil of Pine Needle.
Under the Other Ingredients label, these items appear: Water, Menthol, Hybris Safflower Oil, Seed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Aloe Vera, Beeswax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Urea, and some long chemical-type words (ex. Propylene Glycol).

I am truly shocked that I am the first person to review this product because of its efficacy! It works!
Edit: My foot received relief which lasted one day. MyoMed does not help the pain at all now, but it still works for RL!

I found MyoMed P.R.O. for Restless Leg Syndrome Relief while browsing online about three years ago. I have been plagued with restless legs for more than 15 years. I would give MyoMed ten stars if you had that choice. I can sleep finally and no longer pace like I used to do for literally hours while reading. My friends have tried it for arthritis, sciatica, and neck pain. They ended up buying one from me so I have reordered several times. The price is more than reasonable. The guy in AZ who didn't like it must have put it on over his clothes!

Was totally disappointed in the effectiveness of the product as stated in the product advertising. It was a waste of money as it did nothing to help with the claim "Restless Legs Syndrome Relief" Save your money on buying this product!
