Martek Labs supposedly processes the algae with the toxic, petro-chemical based hexane. Because no residue is left, they don't have to list it, but it's nasty stuff. Read the Cornucopia Institute's report on soy and see the reference to algae-based DHA. I'm trying to find other brands that don't use hexane.

What amazon is showing is what it used to be and what my son used to like. Before it was very clear capsule w/ 5 other ingredients you can readily identify. (sunflower oil, gelatin, glycerin, water, vita C, and vita E. I used to order 1 bottle every 2 months for my son and he used to like simple seaweed flavor. Now it has modified corn starch, glycerin, high oleic sunflower oil, purified water, CARRAGEENAN, sorbitol, ascorbyl palmitate, tocopherols, natural flavor, sunflower lecithin, and caramel. Now it has stronger odor, smaller but thicker shell, and dark brown in color from its original clear orange color. My son won't touch this thing anymore. I guess they changed the formula to decrease the volume and lower the cost. Time to look for another brand.

I looked far & wide for DHA that was reasonably priced & was not made with fish oil. I hate, hate, hate fish & could not tolerate the lingering taste. these have NO fish so NO fish taste.

I just purchased 3 bottles from All Star Health. Be very careful of the stock they are selling right now. I opened two of the bottles and found the oil had solidified into a black chalk-like crust on the spout. Shook up the bottle and it poured into the spoon nearly black. Never seen this before. I had my doubts when I tasted it for the first time... but it's really been easy to incorporate into my diet! I mix the oil into hummus (homemade or store bought) and eat it with broccoli and red pepper for lunch. I've mixed it into cottage cheese (in theory a great way to absorb the good fats) and while it adds a strong flavor it's fine by the second mouthful. I've used it over salads with some lemmon juice not bad at all. My sister uses it like Olive Oil for dressings anything cold as the good fats break down when you heat it up. I can see a difference in my skin, and hair and I just feel better with this in my diet. I am NOT a health nut! But this has been a painless addition to my life, and I feel great about it!

I received the stain soap but hadn't had an opportunity to use it...for a while and had forgotten that I had it.

Well, it finally happened... this month, I had an accident and was about to go to the old standby...a soak with peroxide even though I know that this method doesn't completely remove the stain. It was better than throwing my underwear away.

Con:

Could use some improvement on the label. I accidentally drop the bottle into a wet sink and all the letters and logo got smeared completely. However, it is not a reason to take off a star, I buy the product for the quality of it not for the cute look of the label. :)

I like how this smells kinda like fresh and minty, i had some acne and used this for a few spots and after 3 or 4 days the acne got alot smaller and i didnt have a lot of redness compared to when i used products with benzoyl peroxide.

Also liked the dropper, made it easier to put on cue-tips for applying on my acne spots.

I had been a Sephora addict for the better part of the last decade, but over the past year I've been really trying completely switch over all of my makeup and skincare to scary-chemical free, natural & organic options. Quite frankly, I'd rather pay $55 for this amount than pay less or the same for a larger amount of something loaded with chemicals and that doesn't work as well.)

I just used it this morning, after several days without electricity because of a snow storm. My skin has paid the price it was just feeling dried out, clogged and not pretty. After using this mask, it's back to it's normal self smooth and clear and downright glowing. You might experience some redness that goes away pretty quickly. It also seems to help with fine lines. This mask is definitely one of my top 10 cannot live without products.

When I bought this, I used the one click setting through my phone which I normally do, and I didn't read the description too much though unfortunately..... what I received was a TINY jar..... OVERPRICED in my opinion. I am giving it 4 stars however, because after I tried it it made my skin so soft and smooth and particularly BRIGHTER. It removes dull skin pretty well. I tend to have pretty low expectations when it comes to skincare lines...ever since I read a study that most of the chemicals used in them cause cell apoptosis (cell death) I don't even bother with the heavily advertised products with "proven clinical results". Tata's products are unique in that they are handmade and have natural preservatives (as a formulator myself this is a major obstacle with all-natural products), with many ingredients grown right on her Vermont farm. So much love and energy comes through the product. The resurfacing mask smells gorgeous, I can't stop sniffing it. Yes, I actually unscrew the lid just to take in the aroma. I've used it once and it really did seem to breathe new life into my skin, with improved texture and circulation. Excited to try her other products!!

Two major things about this product. One is that even if you follow the directions on the box with the appropriate shade in mind (of your hair to begin with), you will be turning brass. This will not turn a brunette light brown to dark blonde. It will turn you orangeish brown even if you follow the directions perfectly.

The second thing is that the foam, while easy to mix and seemingly apply, evaporates at a very fast rate or does not uniformly apply like the cremes do. So not only do I have a color I wasn't intending to have, it's not even well blended. I thought I would try this after using cremes for years and having no problems. It is a home color kit and the color variation is something I kind of expect. (cause you know, if I found something I liked, I wouldn't be trying new types!) But this product is in no way superior to a creme. And it COSTS more than the creme kits!

In short, do not buy this. I expect it to be off the market once Garnier has gone through the guinea pigs willing to try it for the first time because I can't see anyone choosing to buy it a second time.

I've been coloring my naturally dark ash blonde lighter using L'Oreal Feria for years, most often in #91 Champagne Cocktail. Well, I wanted to go to a little darker blonde color for the winter months, and L'Oreal Feria no longer makes the darker blonde shade that I like, so I did some research and the Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Foam in #7 Dark Blonde was the closest product/brand to what I had in mind.

First--the pros about this product: it has a nice smell compared to other hair color products I've used, and it also didn't irritate my scalp at all. I also like the conditioner that was provided with the kit; I'll definitely use it once a week to use it up. The negatives? The color came out terrible--a dark, muddy, very ashy brown. NOTHING like the blonde on the box. Apparently my hair was so porous from being colored a lighter blonde that it just soaked up all of the pigment.

I washed it today with a clarifying shampoo and let the suds sit for a couple of minutes before rinsing...this did seem to lighten it slightly and allow underlying highlights to start to come through. I will continue to shampoo everyday and hopefully this will lift out of my hair and lighten up and I'm letting my natural hair grow in during the winter. However, I definitely would not use this product again and I can't wait to get back to being a blonde.

This is so close to my natural color that with two months growth you cannot see roots at all. The color was easy to use and I had no brassiness. My set of oils arrived and I set about making a bottle of my own Fabrese in my own fragrance. I made a batch of oils to put in my diffusers around the house. So nice to have the house smelling the way I want it to. I also put a drop or two of one of the oils inside the toilet paper roll to bring a nice scent to each bathroom.

So much more I hope to do with my oils but this is the beginning. I love these oils so much!
