My daughter is 10mo and literally cut 5 of her 6 teeth in less than month... 3 of them broke through in a matter of 5 days! So it has been teething central around here! We already have a Baltic amber teething necklace that I am also a BIG FAN of, but with her pushing so many teeth through at once I was looking for other remedies. I found a recipe online where a woman was raving about using clove bud oil for her teething baby, so we tried it. I think it was 1TBSP coconut oil to 2 drops clove bud oil, (be sure if you try this you test it on your gums first and then spot test it on babies skin before ever putting it in their mouth! If its too strong for you it's way too strong for them and can burn them! Use caution!) So anyways, we tried it and my daughter loved the flavor and it really seemed to take the edge off the fussiness and achiness from teething and let her sleep better!
In the midst of all this I also had a root canal done! Mixed a tiny bit of clove and coconut oil and rubbed it on my gums and surrounding teeth and really helped with the dull ache post procedure!
I love Aura Cacia they're the best oils, IMO.

This isn't a scent you come across everyday. Very potent. Definitely pure clove. I recommend knowing for sure what clove really smells like before purchasing. After I recv'd my order, I'm not quite sure what to do with it lol. It doesn't scent my home in a diffuser too weak or something. And I'm definitely not wearing this on my body. Dunno I'll figure out something.
