I gave this product 4 stars because of the fact that it's environmentally friendly, economical (when purchased on Amazon) and works really well on clothes, sheets or jeans. I didn't give it 5 stars because it doesn't meet my expectations on towels. I have to use a liquid fabric softener on my towels, otherwise I get complaints about crunchy towels !! LOL
If you are looking for a good dryer sheet that has no scent and you aren't worried about stiff towels, then I'd recommend it. I don't personally mind having separate fabric softener to use on our towels, but I am going to switch to their scented version of this dryer sheet, because I prefer a little scent to my freshly laundered clothes and towels. Just personal preference.

*****These are the first dryer sheets I've used in years as I'm very sensitive to chemicals. I already used Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent, and so I had high expectations for this product. They look similar to regular chemical-full dryer sheets but are the color of brown grocery bags with raised bumpy areas like a paper towel. They have no smell to them whatsoever that I can detect and they work very well to soften my clothes.
These dryer sheets do not soften as much as the chemical dryer sheets, but that's fine with me; before using these there were no dryer sheets whatsoever that I could tolerate so my clothes were pretty stiff. In addition, the sheets don't leave anything behind that I'm allergic to, or anything at all that I can notice besides softness and less static cling.
I was so impressed after trying them out that I immediately ordered more right away. I have continued to use these for about a year and am very happy with them. I have also tried the Blue Eucalyptus and Lavender and like these even better--both are great and it just depends upon whether you want no fragrance at all or a very light, subtle, natural fragrance. Neither bother my chemical sensitivities.
I have noticed, though, that not everyone likes these as much as I do, and other reviewers have noted that they don't work well on static cling. I think that this is because I use all natural fabrics like cotton, silk, linen, and so I suspect that these may not work as well with synthetic fabrics in eliminating static cling. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do!
Highly recommended.
*****I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. My daughter has eczema so these are a good find and price for a natural free and clear product. We also use their free & clear detergent which I really like. These dryer sheets don't help with static our fleece items have taken on a life of their own. I've had to leave the static items in the dryer and put in a different free & clear brand dryer sheet to help with it. All in all though, the regular clothes have come out nice. I like 7th Generation products, they're safe and the price is lower than a lot of others out there.I selected these dryer sheets because of the subscribe & save option but canceled my subscription for them after the first delivery. The sheets do not cause any skin irritation for anyone in my family and they don't leave any chemical scent, so in that sense I suppose they're fine. Unfortunately, they don't soften my clothes, partially because there's a list on the box of fabrics that don't work with these sheets and that list includes many common household fabrics. Unfortunately, they also don't work well to soften the few loads where I can use them. It's too bad the quality doesn't even reach a point where I'm willing to make the sacrifice for the convenience of subscribe & save shipping.I've used these dryer sheets for quite a while now. I feel like they do a pretty good job taking care of static, though they do feel like waxy pieces of fabric. They're definitely not the Bounty sheets you're used to. I've never noticed the wax transfer to my clothes as mentioned in some other reviews. The Free and Clear sheets really are free and clear and don't leave a fragrance on your clothes. I've used other brands of "free and clear" or "fragrance-free" and I can still notice a fragrance.
I think these sheets are worth a try, but maybe they're not for everyone.
