Before last month I would have given this Frank & Myrrh laundry soap 5 STARS!! It used to clean well and leave a wonderful light scent that lasted for days (FYI: I have softened water.) HOWEVER, the last 2 bottles I have purchased were thinner in consistency and didn't smell as nice in the bottle. Now my clothes do not feel as clean and the nice scent has become a heavy oily, amost greasy smell!! I threw half of one bottle away thinking...bad batch, but now I'm going to return last bottle for a refund!! This company needs to stick with the formula and quality that they started with!

We have a HE washer and softened well water and this seemed to be the perfect detergent for us. I've also tried the Seventh Generation and Bio-Kleen lines of detergents and while they worked okay and didn't cause allergies the Zum Clean outperformed both of them in our HE washer. The company tells you this soap eliminates the need for fabric softener and they were right. LOVE IT!!

No residue left in the washer, clean super soft clothes with no fading (even on my new red shirt), and a light clean cuddly warm scent, wish i'd known about this earlier. This is literally the cleanest i've gotten my clothes and the softest without fabric softener. It leaves behind a nice light warm frankincense and myrrh scent that makes your whole house smell nice. My husband has severe allergies and normal scented detergents are too cloying and aggravate his allergies, this scent did not bother his allergies at all. They are also making a linen spray that you can spray on your freshly laundered clothing to bump up the scent but I personally think the scent is just perfect without it. Highly recommend this product. It is a little pricey but it helps you skip a step so once you add in not having to buy fabric softener it's equal to your normal detergent prices.

The product makes your clothes smell like a wonderful mixture of scents, like incense. Also, it makes your clothes feel really soft even without fabric softener if placed in a clothes dryer. You don't have to use a lot of it since it's very powerful (so really great for high efficiency washers). A wonderful thing about this product is that the scent, while possibly obtrusive to highly sensitive noses, seems to stick to the clothing for several days of wear and also seems to stay on clothing while waiting to be worn, allowing it to be an pseudo-air-freshener as well.

Some Cons: Some websites claim this product will allow your clothing to be sun dried and soft just using it. This is not true, so be careful if that's what you're purchasing the product for. Also, this is more expensive than most laundry detergent, but I justify it by not having to purchase fabric softener when paired with a clothes dryer.

I highly recommend this product due to it cleaning my clothing very well and efficiently, allowing me to not have to use fabric softener in the clothes dryer or washer, having a pleasing incense quality scent, and is made of natural ingredients that aren't necessarily harsh on the environment. It also comes in several different scents, I may purchase Lavender or Eucalyptus Citrus next time.

My family and I love this soap!! You can smell it as soon as you walk into the house and it just smells so good. I've never had any problems with it and a little goes a long way! Definitely try it out if you want a different smelling laundry detergent. It almost smells like incense, but better!

We've been using Zum laundry soap (eucalyptus-citrus, sweet citrus, and lavender) for a year now and I wouldn't use anything else. It's gentle on our clothes, towels, and sheets, but also gets my partner's work clothes clean. And the smell is nothing short of FABULOUS! My laundry room smells so good. I think the value is very good for the price, and is an environmentally safe choice. I've recommended the laundry soap as well as many other Zum products to friends and family, and will continue to do so. Try and enjoy!
