I'd been using the Laundress products when I found these on Amazon and decided to give them a try. I bought both Ambrosia and Sweet Tea, and have used them to wash sheets, towels, t-shirts, cotton socks, boxers, oxfords, etc. I'm really happy and buying again instead of The Laundress Whites or Standard detergent. A little goes a long way, so a bottle lasts a very long time. I'm not sure what would give the impression that this was a product specifically for delicates I think they have a different formula for that (not sure?) but still can't imagine how it would have caused elastic to deteriorate (you know you're not supposed to put your bra or panties in the machine, right? And most certainly not in the dryer!!!). Anyway, that's my 2c I'm back here to rebuy. And oh, it does smell great. Both types.

This stuff smells great. It cleans and brightens your clothing, also fading them somewhat at the same time. It ate through the rubber and elastic in my bras and underwear!! I thought this was supposed to be a product for delicates, which is why I ordered it. I will NEVER use it on my delicates again. On towels and non-elastic linen or clothing items only.
