Sweet Porter's Lotion by the famed Porter's folks of Bozeman, Montana, is amazing. It has single-handedly cured my dry, fissured heel cracks, and in record time too! While it has a better, less medicinal smell than the original Porter's lotion, it is strong, like liquid Noxzema. I like it, but my husband, who is seemingly more sensitive to smells as he grows older, can't stand it. If I put it on before I go to bed, the smell will wake him from slumber. But it has done such great things for me, I can't bear to give it up! I guess I wish they would make an unscented version.

I love Porter's Original lotion. I have it on every sink in my bathroom. I don't love the smell of their Original lotion though, so I tried the "Sweet Lotion." Unfortunately, I really don't care for this scent either, only this scent stays on for hours. The closest scent I can say it smells like is Nutmeg, and the smell stays on for a long time. On their original lotion, it only smells for about a minute and then goes away. This scent doesn't, so you will smell like nutmeg for quite awhile!! Also, I find this one leaves a bit of a residue on me, and the original doesn't. So, I will only buy the original from now on....just my preference.

I have the original and saw this formulation and decided to try it.

When it came on time in an undamaged, unleaking condition I felt bet-

ter about the online order.

The lotion applies nicely and is greaseless to the skin. The lotion

contains a good balance of ingredients and is in use by me indoors

and outdoors.

I have been using Porter's lotions for several years now ever since I discovered them. They are more like a mist than a lotion, if that makes sense. The only problem with the original is the strong ammonia scent. I don't need a flowery scent, but that ammonia is strong and unpleasant. I was glad when I tried the Sweet Porter's and found it has a pleasant, natural scent. The Porter's Lotions also work wonderfully and is the only kind my husband will use.
