I have naturally medium to dark brown hair. But it being straight naturally as well it gets very boring. So I have tried numerous shades of auburn and reds to make the hair a little different. I LOVE THIS COLOUR! I gets compliments from people I know and complete strangers on the colour constantly, because it is red, but it does not, on me look fake red. The dye itself cover wells and I love the foam, so much easier than regular liquid, I just wrap it up let it set and rinse it out. Its great... highly recommended

I used this color today. I bought it at Wal-Mart. I have level 2 dark brown hair as my roots. The rest of my hair is a 6 light brown with some maybe like 8-10 level highlights. It deposited well on the 6 and the highlights, but it did not lift the natural dark brown roots very much. So that means its good for grey, but if you want to lighten brown hair, you have to prebleach it. They could fix this by upping the peroxide volume.

I like the product, but he med. auburn turned out to be darker than I wanted it to be. I would like to find a light auburn in the same product line.

I love this color so much and it's really easy to apply. I've never missed a spot with this foam and it covers my blonde roots very well! I've been dying my hair auburn for years and years and this is the most satisfied I've been with a dye since I started. I used to use the vibrant garnier... I don't remember, intense auburn something which was nice since it was so vibrant (yet still quite natural looking) but they discontinued it I think. So I switched to another by garnier. Garnier is the only brand I've found that always has the perfect shade of auburn for me. Eventually it became tiring to always need someone else to dye my hair so when foam dyes started coming out I switched to that so I could safely apply it myself without risking missing a spot. Unfortunately the only brand with a good shade of auburn out at the time was john frieda and although the shade was correct, the color was incredibly dull and boring. When garnier came out with these foam dyes I about peed myself. Switched to it immediately and fell in love! It's PERFECT, garnier. And it's easy to clean up off of my countertops, too! And the pump that actually pumps is so convenient. John frieda's foam required the bottle to be squeezed which was difficult when it was slippery with dye! Unfortunately now I'm having trouble finding my shade in stores so I'm glad to see that garnier sells on amazon. I'll be purchasing it here from now on! Hopefully they'll carry it forever because I fully believe I could be satisfied dying my hair with this product for the rest of my life.
