The genes cream works really well on the most stubborn dry skin. I find it particularly helpful on my hands, elbows, and feet. Those areas are always dry and feel flaky when I touch them. Using the vitamin E cream once a day has revitalized those portions of my body. It's not too thick or heavy like a lot of other creams which is also helpful. It soaks into the skin instead of rubbing off of my clothes or work area. The only downfall is it irritates my face. I gave it a try but it's not the same on my face as the rest of my body. I have to use retinol cream for thatRetinol Cream (Vitamin A) 2 oz. + FREE St. Ives Renewing Collagen Elastin Advanced Body Moisturizer Gift Set. The retinol cream moisturizes but firms and reduces wrinkles which is only really a problem on my face, no need to use it on the rest of my body.
Both creams don't take too much to spread out and last for quite a while as a result. It's good to have healthier skin. It's saved me a lot of pain and hassle!

I found it suspect that the full list of ingredients is not listed openly on Amazon. After doing a bit of research I found them, and while this moisturizer has many excellent ingredients, it also contains many pretty scary ones, which I would never use; here is the complete list:ingredients: distilled water, safflower oil, glyceryl stearate and PEG-100 stearate, tocopheryl (vitamin E), sesame oil, isopropyl palmitate, mango seed oil, shea nut butter, collagen, stearic acid, ceteareth-20, sweet almond oil, macademia nut oil, cetyl alcohol, brazil nut oil, panthenol, octyldodecanol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, propylene glycol, vitamin A palmitate with vitamin D3, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), triethanolamine, sorbitan stearate, pure plant essences known as essential oils (fragrance), methylparaben, phenoxyethanol, propylparaben, allantoin, butylparaben, pemulen, annatto, and caramel
Some of the ingredients I would never use are: methylparaben, phenoxyethanol, propylparaben, butylparaben

It's sad that lotion and cosmetic companies are so reckless with our health and include such dangerous ingredients in our products. If you think about it, lotions are just as important as food as they get placed on and penetrated into our bodies through our LARGEST organ, our skin. I think it's time we demanded more from our personal products manufacturers.I bought this beautiful skin care product from Sams. I totally love it.it smells heavenly . It smells so natural and my skin just loves it. I have small marks on my hands. But after applying this cream they slowly started to fade . My skin is looking bright now. This is so creamy , a little goes a long way. So a bottle should last atleast 5 months. I highly recommend this product to others . It is almost half the price ( online price ) in Sams. ***UPDATE*** January 17I wouldn't suggest putting this on your face if you have sensitive skin. I tried this on a small inconspicuous neck/face area and the skin was dry the next day like I might have a reaction with continued use. Gene's still works extremely well for the rest of my body but I am sticking with CO Bigelow's Deluxe facial moisturizer for my face. Normally 3 days of use would not be enough to convince me to write a review for a product but I am truly impressed. I purchased this product after reading rave reviews. I wasn't expecting the same results I read about but I got them anyway!
I'll do my best to make this review comprehensive and update after longer use.
Backround:
I suppose part of determining if this info will help you is knowing how my skin compares to yours. Although, I am well into my twenties now, as a baby I suffered from eczema. As I got older my skin improved and was no longer inflamed but is still very dry (with a few extremely dry patches) and very sensitive (I have many allergies).
Product Packaging:
This product comes in a very simple yellowish cream colored plastic jar with gold lettering. The container is sturdy but do your best not to drop it. I am clumsy and have already broken the lid after dropping the jar onto the tile floor in my bathroom... twice. (I moved the rest of the product into a spare mason jar)
Product Use and Results:
3 days of use:
Genes creme is very thick. The first time I used it I had trouble spreading it. I would suggest using it immediately after showering when your skin is still a bit wet to avoid waste. Immediately after the first application I was worried that it was so thick that my skin would not be able to soak it up. After a few minutes those worries were put to rest. THIS PRODUCT WORKS!!! My skin has improved dramatically with only three days of use. I apply the creme once in the mornings after showering and it lasts all day (a miracle for someone with skin like mine). Yesterday I mixed a little plain johnson and johnson's baby lotion into my hand with it before application to make it a bit thinner and more easy to spread. That worked very well so if you find this product too thick you might try that. I had dry patches that were so pronounced they looked like scabs and now those areas are as smooth as a baby's bottom! I can't believe it! Also, if you have dry cracked feet this product is for you! I applied genes to my dry feet and put on a pair of fluffy house socks on top. A few hours later I took the socks off to check and my feet were much improved (after only ONE application!). Bottom line, this product works and is worth the money.

This product is amazing,it works like magic. To make easy to spread because of its thickness I think one should not towel dry completely after shower.
