I admit I was a little unsure of whether this would be the real deal. Usually honeysuckle essential oil is super expensive, and the price on this was considerably lower. I use essential oils a lot and I have found there are a lot of companies out there selling "essential oils" which are anything but, so caveat emptor. Happily this does seem to be the real deal! The smell is lovely but VERY intense, so a little goes a long way.

It smells very fragrant, but it seems to be cut with some other oils (citrus, patchouli??) or synthetic fragrances. Even in India Honeysuckle cannot smell like this. I have a very nice european Lonicera Caprifolium absolute I purchased from Victorie Inc. and it "absolutely" smells like the flower (the price reflects such precious oil).

To the sellers, please check your source in India before offering this one, even if Reiki charged. Just saying ...

I love the smell of blooming honeysuckle, but this is not it at all, unfortunately. I dislike the smell of patchouli because I find patchouli too harsh and overpowering, as well as commonplace. This smells like a mild variety of patchouli that surprisingly I don't hate. However, because the promise was to deliver the scent of honeysuckle (at a considerable price), I give it zero stars and recommend that potential buyers keep away from this product.

I love honeysuckle's wonderful aroma in the air every year in the early summer, and saw the reviews and bought this item. But it's not as balanced and sweet as the real flower you can find in this season. If you love the real flower's smell and would like to have it all year around, this is not a satisfying product.
