I used to use this patchouli oil very infrequently since it is quite strong on its own. That was before I realized it could be used along with Aura Cacia Sandalwood and cedarwood fragrance oil. I mix up five drops of patchouli with ten drops sandalwood and ten drops cedarwood. The combination is enlightening to say the least. It completely clears the mind which makes it perfect for meditation or yoga. The reason this works is because patchouli is calming, sandalwood balances the emotions and cedarwood dissolves nervous tension. Together these oils promote a eupohric relaxation.
