Caldrea hand soaps are very gentle on the skin and great smelling, too! I disagree with the previous reviewer about the smell. I find it quite pleasant. The mandarin notes are an Asian-style mandarin, not a sweet orange scent. The vetiver notes are deep and earthy. Smells are different for everyone, but I find most all of the Caldrea scents to be quite pleasing. Plus, they are made with natural essentials oils, which is great for those who dislike strong, fake, perfume-y scents.

This is a nice soap in an attractive bottle. I like it when products are nicely designed and look great in your house. I love citrus smells so this soap is very appealing to me. The Caldrea liquid soaps are not very soapy which I always find a bit weird when I use them as you expect soap to feel soapy. They don't lather much, but it's not just that they don't have much of that slippery feel that soap normally has. So I get the impression I either need to use a little more soap or it's not getting my hands as clean. Even if it is; I have no idea. Regardless, I still like them.

This is the first time ordering Caldrea products. I wish I hadn't. "Mandarin" indicates there should be some scent of orange or citrus, there is none.
