I will never buy another scrub. ever! It does the job of a much more abrasive one without the chemical bleachy smell. I have a glass top stove, and this cleans it beautifully with o scratches. Great for Corning ware, my stainless sink, etc.,etc. the smell is so refreshing.

I ordered Meyer's surface scrub in Lemon scent because I'm trying to use more "natural" cleaners around the house. I hate all the fumes from traditional cleaners.

Let me start the review by saying that this product cleaned extremely well. I'm ashamed to say that one of our bathrooms had a shower with tons of built up soap scum. I was surprised but happy that this Meyer's product took it off with only an average amount of scrubbing. Usually, I find that natural cleaning products don't work as well as the normal cleansers and require much more "elbow grease." That was not the case with this Lemon Verbena scrub. The tile and even the grout looked great with regular effort.

There were though two reasons why I didn't give this product 5 stars. One, the lemon scent is nice but very strong. I had to open all of the windows in the bathroom and turn on the ceiling fan to air out the place. And the smell lingers for a while after you finish cleaning. That might be fine for some people, but if you have a sensitive nose or don't like strong scents, this product is not for you. Two, at just over $8 a container, this Meyer's scrub is expensive compared to traditional cleansers, which can be purchased for less than half the cost. I had to use about half of the bottle to clean my shower once, so the cost will add up. Though maybe if the kids clean the shower more often, I won't have to use as much :)

That being said, all in all, I am happy with this product because it cleans very well.

This works great on stains in my countertop or fro scrubbing pots or the sink. The smell is wonderful and much more pleasant than traditional scrubbers.

Green and Clean is how I would describe Meyers Lemon Verbena Surface Scrub. I use it on my pots, pans and wok to effectively clean off baked-on food. It also cleans up rainbow discoloration and spots. I give it an initial cleaning. Then I make a secondary paste with the Meyers Lemon Verbena Surface Scrub powder and a little water. I let it work overnight and sometimes through the next day. The paste lifts off the remaining baked-on residue and your cookware is as good as new. This method also effectively removes rainbow discoloration and white spots from your cookware. I would recommend to a friend and plan to bring to the next Thanksgiving dinner, as I will be on clean-up detail!
