FYI At the time I purchased, the product page did not specify for external use only ... but that's what the box says. I bought this to use in smoothies because the ingredients said pure evening primrose oil. Although they might stipulate "external only" for liability purposes, I don't feel comfortable consuming it now. Gave it five stars because if satisfies the stated purpose of body oil, comes in a dark glass container, and uses only Vitamin E as a preservative..
