I used it in combination with a Four other excellent oils to make a potent antibacteria/antiviral blend to eliminate a gingivitis I developed and IT WORKED BEAUTIFULLY in two days my gums stopped bleeding, in three days my gums looked MUCH MUCH BETTER. I will continue to use it until I am fully recovered.

You may have to dilute it with a carrier oil if you are using it for your GUMS (inside your mouth -not the skin) . I used Olive oil to as a Carrier Oil at pretty much 50/50 ratio.

After hearing about Myrrh essential oil from the Dr. Oz's show, I decided to order it for my husband who suffers from canker sores. I have ordered a second bottle since it has worked for my husband. Using five drops of oil in water and swishing around the mouth has helped to alleviate the problem of canker sores.I looked in my community for the oil, but had no luck. Then I looked on Amazon.com and was successful.I will continue to order from Nature's Kiss through Amazon.com.Good quality, pure oil. Only needs a couple of drops to do the job. This is not an oil you would use to add "fragrance" unless you like the musty smell, but rather for its properties.I have to admit that I am not a master of what myrrh should smell like this is my first purchase of myrrh. But I will say that the scent of this oil is pleasant, soft, and subtle. This is a gentle scent. It is woodsy and a bit "ambery", reminiscent of some amber resin smell, I think. Because of the price of myrrh essential oil, I chose to buy the smaller amount (lower price to try it out). Next time, I will buy it in the larger size from this same seller. The scent of this essential oil is just lovely.
