I fell in love with the floral scent of Ylang Ylang(produced by another manufacture) in a local health food store but the price was nearly $20 an ounce. I came home immediately and ordered this product, it arrived as promised in 3 days that is the ONLY reason for 1 star. I smelled it and all I could think of was pine sol with floral scent. I figured it was just my sense of smell and decided to wear it one day...EPIC FAIL !!! I love my friends for their honesty and when one scrunched their nose after smelling my wrist , I knew then it wasn't my sense of smell that was mistaken.

I got addicted to the smell of Ylang Ylang after using Hugo Naturals red tea and ylang ylang shampoo so I went in search of the real thing. When I found this 100% pure version by Edens Garden I got so excited! The first time I used it I kept smelling the back of my hand. I have also added 10 drops to my Cetaphile lotion, 10 drops to my hair moisturizers, 10 to my home made shea and cocoa butter body butter mix and let me tell you, they all smell AMAZING. I found out that they use this scent instead of Rose in a lot of men's perfumes. It smells to me like a warm clean body lotion smell when mixed with something else. It's also reportedly an aphrodisiac.

To my surprise it did something great for my skin too, it made the body butter less greasy and the Cetaphil more moisturizing so instead of having greasy or dry skin my skin was balanced, smelled amazing and I just can't get enough of it. If it as a perfume I'd buy the body spray and throw away everything else I use!

I break out from everything and I've been using this all over my body from scalp, face and all the rest and have had no break outs or adverse reactions, just great skin.

I have bought so many oils from this company, I cannot remember always which wa s the most recent!! I love the smell of them all. they are always ahead of the sugested arrival time, packed well, and are long lasting. My favorite is the rose,it's the bomb!!

And by this I mean the smell. The product is great for what it's for. The smell just wasn't what everyone was making it out to be to me. Wish the internet had a scratch and sniff button.
