This oil is solid in the bottle. The directions on the bottle say you have to heat it to make it liquid. I bought some other coconut oil from another company that is liquid. Also, this doesn't smell like coconut oil, so I'm a little skeptical about what it actually contains. I have not tried heating it yet, so I can't comment on how well it works. If you are looking for a liquid, fragrant coconut oil, then don't buy this one.

I'm not sure why people are giving this product low reviews. This is pure coconut oil. Yes, it comes as a solid, that's common for coconut oil. It has no scent. This is labelled as a carrier oil--that means that you can take other essential oils and add them to create a perfume. So the lack of scent is done on purpose.Personally, I like that this is scent free as I am sensitive to perfume. This is a lovely, high quality oil. Will buy again.

I bought the product to try it for the reason of my dry skin during the winter. Additionally, my hair type is normal but frizziness is the only problem.I use it on my palm (quarter size liquid) and massage it thru the wet hair.
It works! It leaves my frizzy hair silky and soft. My son's hair is scalp. I help massage his head with it. He seems not to complain at all.
I love it. I am re-ordering it today.
