Bought this to use like Shea butter and coconut oil as a beauty aide. It just soaks into my skin, softening as it absorbs, plumping my skin so wrinkles are noticeably diminished. I really notice how I it plumps my lips restoring moisture and the color years of wearing lipsticks has robbed them of. And while I'm using it to do all this beautifying, it's absorbing through my skin, giving me the internal benefits of flax seed oil as well.

I don't know how healthy product is since I only used it a few times. At that point I read product label and found out it needs to be refrigerated at all times. It was not shipped that way to me. I called Spectrum up to ask about this issue. They told me product did need to be refrigerated, otherwise product breaks down and nutritional value is lost. If you check local health stores you will notice all flax oil products are refrigerated in store. There is a reason for that!!!!!

This is a great oil, suggested by my doctor, for brain and stomach health. The flavor is ok, I find it better mixed in flavorful meals, like herb dip, or mixed with olive oil for improved flavor. Spectrum is a great company, I love all of their products. You'll feel so good taking this oil from Spectrum!
