This shampoo works very well. The smell is subtle and doesn't hang around through the day but keeps my beard from getting that "sour" smell that happens without washing. It will dry your face out if used too much. I shampoo once a week with cold water and the days I don't wash I just give a very thorough rinse under water. Pair this with a good leave in conditioner and it's definitely worth the money.

I'm normally a Bluebeards Extra conditioning guy, but opted for variety this go round. It's not bad, it's just not what I'm use too. It's pretty herbal on the nose and suds like a beast. I don't really care for the scent profile and it didn't leave my beard as conditioned, but as a soap it's as advertised. I will say it lasts forever. Even a very small amount(it's thin and watery) will suds like no other.I ordered this as a gift for my husband and was disappointed when I received it. It comes in a very tiny bottle and isn't worth the price you pay for it. My husband used it and said it wouldn't even lather and left his beard smelling like vomit. It was terrible! I would not order this at all.I believe that this product makes beards smell good, but it's not for me right now. I have to wait till my beards to my chest before I use it again. My beard looks shorter when I use any shampoo for it so I'm not washing it for a long time cause I know it's longer than what it is but it just poofs up from the shampoo.
