I expected a sweet-sugary smell but it is very floral...makes you wonder why they would name it "Marshmallow!" lol...the lotion itself is very good. It moisturizes well but the smell was horrible! i had a hard time finding someone who would take it from me (for free!)...Mor Cosmetics has a different scent...candied vanilla almond and that one is yummy! If you are looking for a sweet smell, stay away from this one and go for the candied vanilla almond!
