I have a rash that flares up when using most types of soaps and detergents and had tried lots of brands. While I use gloves for cleaning and dish washing, someone who cooks is going to get her hands dirty. This soap gets my hands clean in the kitchen, even cutting through butter and olive oil and doesn't sting. It rinses easily and cleanly and you only need a little. The scent is derived from citrus peel oil, and while natural, could still cause a reaction in those who are sensitive, but otherwise it is a mild scent and washes away with only the slightest trace left behind. It is not moisturizing, this is a product for effective cleaning only. I haven't been able to wash my hands without worrying about the pain, itch and stinging until now. It's in my bathroom, too, and all I care to use anymore. I only wish it were offered with Super Saver shipping here on Amazon.

I honestly didn't expect to like this product. Every other "natural" hand soap was a huge disappointment & I expected the same from this one.Boy, was I wrong! It's very lightly scented, and cleans my hands just as well if not better than traditional hand soaps.
The highest compliment I can pay this is to say that no one noticed I swapped out our bottle of "soft soap".
It didn't have an intense herbal scent, and left everyone's hands squeaky clean!
I will be buying this again for sure, and my only regret is that I bought a single bottle instead of a 3 pack!I love the smell. It isn't strong and doesn't linger very long. It is my favorite hand soap.Also package is recyclable.
