Not particularly indulgent when it comes to bath products, I do nonetheless feel somewhat pampered with this soap. A nice fresh color with a very mild and pleasant scent, one can't help but feel clean after using it. Like most products beyond the supermarket variety, it is a bit overpriced and, for some reason, hard to find in Manhattan.

I have used and enjoy the original Pears soap and I was curious about this one. It works as well on my oily skin as the original so, in general, I like it a lot. However, this soap has a much stronger fragrance. It is a pleasant, fresh, seashore kind of fragrance, but very strong when the bar is new.
