I have fine but thick hair that likes to wave (and frizz) at the slightest hint of humidity, so I need heavy-duty products that will make my hair look sleek and shiny. Pureology is the best, especially for color-treated hair (I am blond but still get my hair highlighted 3 or 4 times a year). This company does not use sulfates in any of their products, because these harsh chemicals will strip the color right out of you hair. Highlights are expensive, and I want them to last as long as possible! Pureology will extend the life of your color AND make your hair beautiful. The SuperStraight line tames the frizz and gives a wonderful shine, even to blond hair. From straw to spun silk! Yes, Pureology products are expensive, but a little goes a long way and how can you put a price on gorgeous hair? I also recommend the Superstraight shampoo and the Hydrate line if you need even more moisture. Oh, I should mention that most of the Pureology products contain Peppermint oil; it's great for your scalp but smells very minty and quite strong when you first use it. But by the time you are finished styling, your hair will just smell fresh and clean, so no worries. Love it!

I have curly hair, that's been extremely dry, and the color looks almost brassy. Touching it felt like straw. My stylist recommended Pureology, so I wanted to try it out. Very skeptical of high end brands for hair care usually I don't see them doing anything different from the lower price brands. Anyway, after one use with Pureology Straigh shampoo and this conditioner, my hair was soft, shiny and healthy looking it was a miracle! I've never seen such a drastic change from a product line before Its quite expensive but worth the $. Interestingly, I asked mom to try it -she has beautiful, shiny and straight hair. She liked it but unlike me, she did not see any dramatic differences. So i think for gals like me, who have "problem hair" of some sort with dryness / damage/ bad color/ friiziness, this product is like miracle in a bottle I wont use anything else. But for someone whose hair looks great as it is, not sure its worth spending the $ for every day use.

Love it. Why they discontinued this product I'll never know. Super Smooth isnt the same as Super Straight either. I have alot of hair, and this is one of my favorite products. Wish it was cheaper.

I love the Pureology Super Straight line of products. I've been using them quite happily for years They're difficult to come by anymore. The company may be discontinuing the line which would be a mistake. They're a terrific line. The Super Smooth line maybe the next closest, but isn't as good.
