Had to reduce reeds to 2-3 as fragrance overpowering. Hoping for natural Christmas tree scent, but not--too chemical, too artificial for our taste.

I bought this from a local shop in Colorado and have it in my office! Everyone who walks in or near my office asks what the smell is and really like it! I have NOT changed the reeds around, but did spill the contents on my carpet due to knocking my bookshelf over (no fault to the bottle or reeds!) The smell is pretty strong, but did not stain and is not over bearing! At least to my nose! I have since gone back to the shop to buy more as a gift, and they are soldout resorting to amazon! Get it now!

These WoodWick diffusers are great! I've looked for a long time for a Christmas scent that actually smells like a real pine tree, and this is it!! I place it behind my artificial tree and it makes me feel like I have a real tree. You do need to turn over the reeds every couple of days as instructed because the top of the sticks do dry out. But I'd rather flip the reeds than fill a live tree basin with water. I bought all that I could last year and gave them as gifts. Many of the recipients have asked for a repeat of this same Frasier Fir diffuser. I highly recommend it!

I took a chance making this purchase. I am 62and have never smelled the supposed pine aroma this thing emits. It actually does not emit aroma more than probably 3 inches fom when it is sitting. Bad news bears. I have used the ones from Pier One. Night and day difference. I hope my being suttle is getting my message across to who ever took time to read this. On a one to ten scale, a generous 1.5 percent satisfaction level. Honestly, I was more than disappointed. Never again. Thanks.
