This is a very inexpensive soap but is a contender to many finer brands. It cleans well, does not dry out my skin and has a nice smell. I've found it works well at controlling excess oil when I use it as a facial soap. This soap is a secret that needs to get out! Quality and affordability are exceptional. I would recommend Pears soap to anyone.Pears Oil-Clear soap is delightful! Its fresh fragrance, great lather and squeaky-clean feeling make it my favorite soap of all time! Plus, it lasts and lasts. The supplier who sent it was also delightful--fast, affordable, reliable.although this soap is labeled "dermatologist tested" it is not hypoallergenic or non-comedonic as was the classic Pears soap I have been using for years. The ingredients are totally different from the classic Pears soap. I kept the soap but will not be using it on my face. I was greatly disappointed.
