I have been a Neutrogena fan since I was 8 years old, and I'm now in my early 30's so we're talking over 20 years. I refuse to wear heavy or obvious make-up, and even light foundations end up an oily mess on my skin (except for Almay's Nearly Naked that stuff is great, but doesn't moisturize effectively and doesn't keep my skin as matte as this one does). I have had oily, acne-prone skin since I was very young, and every moisturizer I have tried to use has broken me out. Also, while I realize I need to start being more diligent in my use of sunscreen now that I am getting older, sunscreen breaks me out and gives me a headache from the smell. Most anything going on my face bothers me in some way, whether it's the smell, the oily feel, or my skin's reaction to it.
And now there's Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer! The PERFECT balance between super lightweight coverage, moisturizer, and fantastic SPF that smells nice and doesn't make my skin oily or break out. It doesn't cover much, but it's not really intended to cover. It doesn't advertise that it's a foundation, and it certainly isn't, but that's what is so great about it! I don't want to cover my skin I want to enhance it, which it does. It's super natural, super light, and has definitely improved the texture of my skin after only a few uses fantastic! I actually went to sleep last night forgetting to wash it off, which I usually would never do, and my skin looked great this morning. With any other product I'd be a pimply, oily mess today. And as someone who has pale skin (I use the Fair to Light #20) and suffers from slight melasma and discoloration from past acne scars and heavy sun exposure, but also someone who isn't afraid to show that I have human skin (ugh...nothing looks worse than that plastic heavy foundation look. I'd rather show my flaws!), Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer is the perfect solution to even-out my skin tone and make it look more youthful and glowing.
I couldn't be happier with this product, and I highly recommend it to those who hate the feel of make-up and lotions on their skin and want their natural colorations to show through. I never would have thought that I'd actually find a tinted SPF that I not only tolerate but actually enjoy using!

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer, Ivory To Fair, is a light-weight, multi-purpose product which combines moisturizer with a hint of color. I was looking for something that I could use on my more mature skin. I need a moisturizer, but also wanted a product that would provide light coverage to even out my skin tone and minimize pores. Further, I didn't want to spend a fortune on something. After reading reviews, I decided to give this product a try.Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer, Ivory To Fair, is liquid enough so that no more than two presses of the top are necessary to get enough, but not too much, product for even application. This enhancer is not so fluid that the product runs when being applied. It does a nice job of minimizing pores, but does not give one a mask-like appearance. It can be used without an additional foundation product and does provide enough moisturizing properties to prevent flaking in dry-skin areas.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer, Ivory To Fair, might not be light enough in color for individuals who have a true ivory skin tone. It has a bit more color than most ivory foundations and tends toward having beige undertones. It is very good for those fair-skinned individuals who may have a bit of a tan or who consider themselves as having light-olive skin.
The fragrance of Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer, Ivory To Fair reminds me of suntan lotion. Since it has an SPF of 20, this may account for the light suntan-lotion scent. I did not find it offensive; and, it was not so strong that my sensitive-to-fragrance spouse noticed it.
While Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer, Ivory To Fair, has a number of positive attributes, it also has some characteristics that kept me from awarding it a five-star rating. The product dries in the pump opening, even after only 24 hours between uses. If one forgets to clear the opening, the first push on the pump results in a squirt of product ending up several inches from the target. The biggest drawback to Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer, Ivory To Fair, is that it "puddles" in numerous splotches if one sweats at all. Even a light, "dew-producing" moment causes the wearer to appear to break out in light colored "measles." If you are at an age where you experience your own "personal summer moments" this is not the product for you. You will experience running streaks all over your face. It is because of this characteristic that I gave Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer, Ivory To Fair, a four-star rating. If I lived in a cooler climate or did not experience occasional "warm" moments, it would have received five stars.

This product goes on very sheer and ligthweight and with the added benefit of retinol it leaves my skin feeling very smooth, moisturized, even toned and radiant. The look is very natural, most people cant tell im wearing it. This product works well only if you have generally good and clear skin. I imagine it wouldnt give much coverage if you have acne, scars or dark uneven pigmentation. But other than that, i highly recommend, specially for everyday wear. Ive been using it now for about 2 months and a little goes a long way. The pump dispenser makes it real easy to control amount you wish to apply and is less messy than regular bottled foundations. Also in the time ive been using it i havn't have any breakouts, so i know this product is not clogging my pores.So... if you want that sheer natural look....this product is for you.

I'm a guy who's pretty interested in skin care. I was looking for a way to even out my skin tone, moisturize and get spf without piling on products or worrying about pore clogging/shine. This product is my lifesaver. I've been using this for almost two weeks and not a single person has asked me if I'm wearing makeup. It goes on light and has a mostly matte finish; you won't look like you put baby powder on your face. The scent is extremely light; I despise sunscreen smells and this was easily tolerable. If you're worried about getting shiny later on, just get a loose powder and you're shine free/natural looking for hours on end. I even pat a very small amount on my eye area since I don't usually wear sunglasses. It's very gentle on my sensitive skin and I haven't broken out from it. I think it's actually improving my skin slowly. Two important things though. First: Less is more. Apply only what you need to get an even coat. Apply a little more if the first time wasn't enough. Second: Avoid getting your face wet; this product is not waterproof and will get a little runny if you are sweating excessively down your face or if you get splashed with water. I turned into a sopping wet tree branch on a rainy day and went inside to see the product running down a bit. These are negligible flaws and have no bearing on the fact that it's top notch for simple skin care. Plus, it's very affordable. I can tell this bottle will last me a while.I got this in ivory to fair-the lightest color and it was VERY dark and orange based for something for very fair women. The color came off as a very warm toned dark ivory. So if you have more of a porcelain skin tone-I would steer completely clear of this product. The only tinted moisturizer I have found that is light enough for a porcelain complexion is Covergirl's aquasmoothers tinted moisturizer in the lightest color-fair to light. The only problem with the covergirl one is it literally gives you no coverage and didn't even at least even up my skintone. On the plus side I did find the Neutrogena one a good consistency and moisturizing,etc-as I have very dry skin. So if you are not super light complected I'm sure the colors would be just fine. For coverage-I found it on the lighter side of a medium coverage and it more evens out your skin tone and reducing redness of blemishes, etc but doesn't really completely cover anything.I might try mixing the two TM's together and see what that does or try Wet N' Wild's TM as I've heard really good things about it. They never make these things in enough shades!!
