I've enjoyed my ultrasonic aromatherapy diffuser for a several weeks now. I ordered mine in black, and I really like the look of the ceramic houseing and the shape of the design. It is super easy to rinse and refill after each use, often I follow with a quick wipe with a tissue when switching over to a new oil, especially when they aren't compatible. Sometimes I run it with just water to clear out any residual smell, even without the added aroma I enjoy the steady stream of steam.
There are two basic settings: first click green lighted led for a continual stream lasting 3 hours, second click yellow led for alternating 30 secs on and 30 secs off for approximately 6 hours. Click a third time to turn it off. Either mode or off works with a small night light option. It is a separate button and is the ring you see towards the bottom of the housing.
Changing out the water you first unplug the power from its base, pull off the top ceramic housing, remove the plastic cone water cap, and rinse and fill the cup to its fill line. After that you can add about 5-7 drops of your preferred essential oil. Put the cap and housing back in place and plug it back in. It is much more tedious to describe than to do!! Seriously, I have no patience and find the process easy and intuitive.
I purchased this model after shopping around and seeing this had the same specifications as another top of the line model but with a very slight design shape change on top but otherwise having all of the same operational aspects and high ultrasonic performance. However, this one was about half the cost of the other. It wasn't reviewed at the time but I took a chance and I am very pleased that I purchased this particular design. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. I'll be buying my son one for Christmas per his request.
