You know how so many scents smell nothing like the real thing? This isn't one of them. It smells exactly like the fresh magnolias on my mother's tree. Nothing artificial or perfume-y about it. Best of all, you can wear it and enjoy it year round instead of having to wait until summer for the real ones to bloom. I love the way it smells strong enough to notice, but not overpowering. I have been searching for a magnolia oil since the Body Shop discontinued making theirs. This one has a rather nice fragrance but it is very weak and wears off quickly.
