This flax oil has no added ingredients a major plus as compared with the Now Brands version.

The taste is very mild and it's easy to just pour a teaspoonful and drink it "straight up" or add it to a smoothie or kefir.

You can find this for a much lower price at Walmart, however.

I like this Flax Oil liquid. I use it at the end of the day, when I can mix a protein shake together after lifting. It adds some good fats that can curb hunger pangs and promote healthy living for heart and mind. It doesn't contain DHA though, like natural fish oil does but you can either eat more fish or take a tablet for that.

This flax oil doesn't have a significant taste if mixed into something like a protein shake versus water. Here's a quick recipe I like with this oil and a blender:

Banana Delight

Ingredients:

8 oz pure water

1/2 banana (frozen)

2 oz protein of choice

2 tsp flaxseed oil

(1 cup ice -not in original recipe but I like it for cooling effects)

Just make sure you refrigerate the oil, as bad flax seed has a really bad taste and odor. You can probably get this in your local Walmart for a little cheaper than here, but not everyone carries the liquid form.

I have been using the FLAX OIL for many years now. It is a natural product made with wholesome ingredients. It is better than the softgel capsules because you are getting the liquid form which is more digestable. It is great for the skin and for your totel wellbeing.
