My husband uses this twice a day because the proton pump inhibitors he takes for his acid reflux deplete his magnesium levels, and this works like a charm to keep them stable. It's better than taking oral supplements, which cause diarrhea in even relatively small doses. This bypasses the digestive system, so there's no aftereffect.

Our only complaint was that the pump got clogged and stopped working about 2/3 of the way through the bottle. He ended up having to pour a little into his hands, which is a bit awkward, but doable.

UPDATE: After a couple of months of use, we had to discontinue it because the impurities were causing my husband's skin to itch and break out in a rash. I found another product, Sunlife, that is more expensive but delivers a much more concentrated oil, which doesn't irritate the skin. It also isn't sticky at all; you don't have to wash it off.

I bought this because I have CFS and Fibromyalgia. I purchased 3 bottles and used it daily. I had a blood test to check magnesium levels before and then one after and the test results were exactly the same. It didnt help with the CFS or Fibromyalgia either. I gave it 3 stars since it does contain many minerals in the base product.

This is a concentrated spray that applies best when sprayed on damp skin directly after showering. Arms, legs, torso only. Not on the face or neck. Dermal delivery is the optimal way to utilize magnesium. No stress in the stomach. If you suffer from leg or feet cramps spray on nightly before retiring, It helps relieve symptoms coupled with calcium citrate. This size bottle goes along way. Don't over apply or you will taste the mineral on your skin. If skin is extra dry try using with a little extra grape seed, avocado, or olive oil for better obsorbtion. Let oil throughly absorb before wearing clothing. If you have sensitive skin order the sensitive version. Occassionaly clean the spayer head in a bit of white vinegar, it is a mineral with trace minerals, they can clog small inorganic spray caps.

This product mentions nothing about being pure or safe and it is sourced in Utah which means it likely has dangerously high levels of Mercury & Cadmium.

This company uses magnesium from the Great Salt Lake in Utah. One quick web search will show you that over the past few years the EPA has found extremely toxic amounts of mercury in this lakeamong other poisons. Do not rub this impure product on your bodyit stinks anyway and you sure don't want to rub mercury on the largest organ on your body!! I will be returning it and buying from a reputable company. This White Egret brand doesn't even put informative details on their website nor provide reassurance that they test these products at ALL. My bottle did not have a lot number or expiration date. Stay far, far away! Wish I'd done my homework with this brand. Yuck on this hazardous stuff!!!
