I purchased this particular essential oil to make a mouthwash recipe for thrush. I have had a systemic candida infection (2nd to steroid epidural injections) for over 2 years. I have been on every available medical treatment with no real success. It can make you feel really bad when it becomes acute. I have now resorted to more natural methods which have actually kept it more latent. Mixed with vodka and peppermint, lemon, & thyme essential oils it makes a great mouthwash for thrush. I was having a moderate flareup & used it the first time prior to going to sleep. The thrush was significantly better the next morning. I have only used this brand of essential oils since I became interested in essential oils a few months ago. I have been pleased with the quality of all the oils that I have purchased. This brand was recommended by a local health food/products store that has been in business since 1970. Aura Cacia tests all of their batches of essential oil for purity. It is also a good oil for aging skin when diluted with a carrier oil.I ordered some other brands of oils as well as the aura cacia. I was very disappointed in the other brands, but as always Aura Cacis is an excellent essential oil.
