I don't mean to use the same tired old line that many naturals do, however it is a truism..."what works on my hair may not work on yours". However this works great on my hair, it has really helped my hair to grow and stay healthy. You can also use this for hot oil treatments and as a leave in conditioner. I like this conditioner more than I do the shampoo which I also brought. I just noticed that they have different "flavors" (Can't think of a better word to use right now, LOL) such as peppermint and citrus. This lavender and rosemary is working so well for me that I don't want to rock the boat, I think I am going to leave well enough alone in this area because it isn't every day that you find a product that works. However I think I might try out the peppermint next in the shampoo to see if I like it better than the lavender shampoo. But for me, this conditioner is great and will definately be a main stay in my hair care regiment.I am not of African descent but have thick, course Mediterranean long hair. I use this as a conditioner for a daily comb through in conjunction with the lavender/rosemary pomade. The conditioner can be used after washing but I use it primarily for daily hair management without washing and use the pomade to eliminate frizz and fly away hair. I like the scent and the lack of artificial chemical ingredients even more. My hair is no longer dry and hard to manage. Additionally it is an excellent protective ingredient for my hair while flat ironing. It's a little pricey because it is carefully handmade but with the way my hair looks and responds it is well worth the expense. I highly recommend it.I was hoping for it to leave my hair soft and more manageable but instead it felt dry and hard. Did not have much slip to it. Probably would not want to use it again.
