I don't know if this calms emotional or nervous stress as it claims nor will it replace Valium but it certainly is soothing. The rose scent is perfect and not overpowering. You almost feel a sensation of warmth and comfort as you rub in this oil. It also absorbs well and leaves skin soft but not oily. If you love rose and want to envelope yourself after a bath or shower try this. It has a true rose scent but isn't too strong and I have to admit I did feel a slight sense of well-being but maybe I just love roses and pampering myself.

This product does the job and is very nicely scented, however the scent is not long lasting. I use it with layering and for that it's just fine. Does a good job of softening the skin and is very lightweight and not greasy for an oil.
