Have been purchasing this item locally but the price was killing me. Can't beat the online price and the shipping/delivery was very fast. I take two tablespoons daily to increase my eyes' natural tear productiong. Dry eye trouble due to Lasik surgery in February 2008. Opthalmologist told me this would help and so far I am pretty sure it is helping... a lot. First, I make sure the lid is on good and tight and the flip-top snapped shut, then I shake the heck out of it while holding it upside down, then because it is so thick, I unscrew the cap to pour -I DO NOT TRY TO SQUEEZE IT THROUGH THE FLIP-TOP LID it is just too thick. Better tasting flax oil than other brands I have tried. CAUTION: Make sure you keep it in a cool place prior to opening. After opening, make CERTAIN it is kep REFRIGERATED. Again, great stuff.

I have IBS and a friend recommended pure flax oil, in addition to my 3-6-9 supplements, to help with 'movement' in my bowels. I will admit, I dont know exactly what it does, but I have been taking 1-2 tablespoons of this everyday and my stomach aches, rumblings, blockages and discomforts have really lessened. I buy Activia smoothies, drink 1/3 of it and then pour in 1-2 TBSP of the flax oil, shake it up and chug it down. Its been 2 months and so far so good!

I've been buying flax oil for several years. The price on this product is by far the lowest. I had been buying from Vitamin Shoppe until I found this price. Last check on the VS site was $15.99 for 24 ounces. As far as I can tell, the quality is comparable.

Since I use the product daily, I elected to get regular deliveries which lowered the price some more. Very satisfied with this product and definitely satisfied with the price.

I had gastric bypass almost 2 years ago and as part of the protocol I'm supposed to have a protein shake every morning. A friend of mine recommended that I take Flax Seed Oil and/or Fish Oil due to the many health benefits it provides. So I thought I would start adding it to my shakes every morning.

It looked a little funny at first. You're supposed to shake up the bottle real good and then squirt the oil out through the "valve" bottle opening. It actually looks pretty gross. It's got bits of seed in there but it's explained on the bottle that it's expected. So I went with it.

To my surprise it actually enhanced the flavor of the shake and made it noticeably smoother! I think this is an excellent product and with this very reasonable price I'm happy that I can do a little something more to make myself more healthy with very little added daily cost.

For those who are interested and need a protein shake every day, here is my very delicious recipe (Note, this isn't exactly low calorie!):

1.5 (12 oz) water

2 scoops of Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard, Double Rich Chocolate, 5 Pound

2-3 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter

1 Banana

1 Tablespoon of Flax Seed Oil

1-2 Cups of Ice (depending on how "shakey" you want it to be)

Blend until smooth

*** UPDATE *** Just got my second bottle of this stuff. Still love it. Packaging was better this time (first time cap was broken).
