I don't use this every night so I can't really attest to the long-term benefits. The nights I do use it, my skin feels tighter(not in a dry way, but I put a light moisturizer on top) and I think it helps lighten my old acne scars. Definitely makes my skin smoother the next day. I don't use it everynight because after a couple in a row, I notice little red spots on my cheeks. Not breakouts, but maybe this is a little too strong for daily use? At least for me
