I started taking this product several years ago when Viooxx was taken off the market. The 8 years of taking the NSAIDS gave me a hitial hernia. I have chronic ostoarthritis and have been under the care of a chiroptractor for the last 8-10 years. They recommended this product to me as a replacement to Aleve. It works beautifully. I usually take 5 in the morning, if I have a bad day, in lots of pain I will take 5 before I go to sleep. I will never again take a pain prescription or NSAID. When buying supplements I only buy products made by NOW FOODS. I know they are a very good quality company.

Just got off the phone with NOW Foods product support and was advised that I should NOT freeze these capsules, as they can split open, letting the oil out. I have seen many suggestions to freeze the capsules so as to reduce fish burps, but NOW says: 'freezing is not a good idea. Instead, ingest the capsules prior to eating a significant meal.' That's how I take this kind of pill anyway.

I have only been taking these a few days and haven't had the fburps yet, but we'll see...

EDIT 6-29-13: Still taking them the way described above and no fburps. I do store them in the fridge and not sure if that helps.

So far this have been a good product. I have only been using it for 1 month. The only problem I have is I end up with burps that taste a little fishy, but that is only for about 1 hour after I take them.

This is the best fish oil out there. Very high in EPA and DHA. No fish burps. Great value when Amazon was selling this for $10.

I take these for my tendency towards intestinal inflammation. They work OK, but I've had the most success with enteric coated fish oil pills for my particular condition.

These pills were just OK for me. Price is great, good value, and if your problem isn't gut related, I highly suggest these pills. I'm sure they would be just fine in cases of arthritis, heart health, cholesterol, etc.
