I like this brand better than the one from Texas, only because the other brand makes my crowns catch and sort of grind on each other, as if they are almost too squeaky clean. This brand does not do that. So, I'll go with this one. Do a good job of cleaning, and stain removal, taste is fine (tastes like soap of course!) and my gums have never been better. Have been using tooth soap for about a year now, will NEVER return to toothpaste. Toothpaste we grew up with, the usual brands sold in all groc stores etc, must (??) have been developed to make all that money for the dental profession. I have had to come to that conclusion after the improvement I've seen with my teeth and gums since switching to tooth soap. Folks, you have to try tooth soap .. YES, it tastes like soap, but the things it will do for your teeth and gums you will discover are nothing short of miraculous. You will keep your teeth all your life, I'm guessing, so it's that important to try this stuff. I was a skeptic; how could this product be SUCH an improvement over "toothpaste"?? Surely the ADA would be recommending it, instead of good ol CR**T, etc?? Find out for yourself and you will be writing a similar review.

I really am loving this tooth soap! My teeth feel very clean. Even my 8 year old son is brushing with this. I want to keep him as cavity free as I can! I will purchase again! the jar is full of the soap strands and I only need 1/2 a strand at each brushing.

I really like the taste of this product and like the clean feel it gives after brushing. I don't always use the entire shred it depends on how long and thick one is. You can easily break or bite one in half. Eventually you get the feel for how much you like. I use this daily and will order it again when it is complete.

This is a very healthy way of cleaning your teeth and gums. It does leave a soapy taste in your mouth, but it is worth it.

I only used 1/2 of a shred, and it literally burned my tongue. I had a big red burned area where I first put it in my mouth to chew it, and then the rest of my tongue was burned but not as much.

I followed all directions completely, even used LESS than the recommended amount, of 1 whole shred. I sent it back. Glad amazon has such an easy, convenient return policy. (I do still like the peppermint tooth soap liquid, though.) I am not sure if I got a bad batch of this or if all of them are like this, but I'm not going to try again to find out.
