years ago i had bought some spiritual sky oil at a local record store and it was amazing. when i was looking for a new scent to try i decided to look on amazon and found the spiritual sky line here. i decided to try the amber b/c i had a sample of amber oil from a different company and was looking for something i knew and could afford. i'm not an expert on amber scents but this, when opening the bottle, is pungent w/ a sharp tone; not good or bad for that matter. when i first put it on i wasn't sure if i liked it or not, but the dry down [at least on me] is sweet, creamy, and almost vanilla. for the amount i paid for this oil i don't regret buying it. if i decide to wear this on a date/out i'm going to be sure to put it on a bit before i leave and give it some time to become the beautiful dry down scent.

This scent smells better after a little while, it's got a strong, pungent smell from the bottle. But don't let that turn you off because once it's been on for a little while, it's a soft, subtle amber scent, the one you've come to love. I recommend it.

I bought this for 2 reasons: 1, I love the little bottles with their "hindu" label on them, and 2, I had a Spiritual Sky fragrance back when I was a teen and wanted another one for nostalgia purposes. I received my order from Tom's Incense very quickly, and decided to try the perfume out today. To my surprise, the oil is quite fragrant and lasting, especially for something at this price. It smells spicy and sweet, and is somewhat reminiscent of (but doesn't really smell like) vanilla. I'm enjoying wearing it by itself, and will be interested to see how it blends with other fragrances I have. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would definitely buy it again.

I am not sure if i'm familiar with all different Amber scents, but what I received does this item it did not smell ANYTHING like Amber. Not to say it smelled bad, just weird, and not Amber! Just forewarning!
