This is a superb-quality item. It is not a chemical approximation of a scent (like Glade), it's the real deal. It's a fresh, natural cedar, not overwhelming or harsh, and it works very well. I was having a hard time finding cedar oil that had the aroma that I was looking for. I wanted something that was like walking in the woods, or that good old cedar fence smell. Because of the great reviews I purchased this cedar oil. My first impressions were that it wasn't really what I was looking for. The aroma wasn't what I had expected; it was much stronger stringent smelling and not exactly like the cedar smell I wanted. The good news is that after 4-5 days the aroma had some how mysteriously matured into a really nice cedar smell. I sprayed it inside an old guitar to see if I could give it a really pleasant smell. Again, after a few days it smelled 'almost' exactly like what I was looking for. I am wondering if the oil needs to mix with the wood for a while in order to elicit the good cedar smell.

I love the scent and it seems that stink bugs do not! I purchased cedarwood oil because someone recommended it as a bug repellent. And I purchased this particular brand of cedarwood oil because the spray is a very convenient application of the oil. Last year stink bugs entered our home through the open spaces at the edges of our screen door. This year, I sprayed this cedarwood oil in the spaces and so far the stink bugs are staying away from the door and not entering our home. I also used it on our hardwood floor by spraying a small amount of the oil on a dust mop. It works great and smells great! And a little goes a long way. I would recommend this product to others and I plan to buy more in the future.
